Xperia Z have a horrible screen, and I do not want to risk breaking the flap/cover everytime I want to plug in my headphones, and I have never ever needed a "waterproof" phone, and my S3 did not die... when i used it in the rain!
Z look good but feels very uncomfortable in the hand!

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2013Strange that so many s3 owners posted that they will go for... moreMy previously phone was S3 and now Sony Z, i love the build quality and design of this phone, What Sony need to do is better battery life implementation and solution for heat problem, if they can fix those two things and better human friendly integration..... then Sony will the best of best ....can easily beat Samsung or Apple if they have those points their in mind for NEXT big thing.

After I bought & use it for 3days I find it very good & amazing!! Battery also very good accept for... it heats up very fast & little bit weak wifi signal... Loudspeaker is avarage and sometime u can hear a crackling sound... Camera is superb, clear and sharp, I can say i'm in love with my xperia z!

Check out the display shootout, Z winds clearly over galaxy s4, look at the charts hire bad skilled is on greyscale and howoff the color bands are, and the disastrous lack of detail. This was one of my main reasons to change from Note2 to Xperia Z.

Best phone ive ever used......Sony fix camera open lag....apart from this absolute beauty.....little bit heating issue...

i just had this product 2 days ago, and last night i just realized that I GOT DEFECT PRODUCT !! it has DEAD PIXEL in my sony xperia z which only 2 days old ! this product IS SUCKS !! , SONY IS SUCKS , how come that us$700 that i bought in my country Indonesia has dead pixel, even chinese mobile phone that worth only $25 dont come with dead pixel , WHAT A JUNK

Sony o sony definitely you have immense knowledge of your product but unfortunately it seems that you lack to be in the midst of people or care for their need & interest, and sometimes I feel like you are manufacturing mobile for yourself and high class people but not for the mass. Your market strategy is very very poor that's why you will never ever be able to beat Nokia, Samsung, & LG. You were preparing to be in no.3 position in the smartphone market, but its a challenge to you you will not even get to 5th position. If really you want to be in 3rd position then bring out sets ranging from 5K to 10K. Then see how people will run to buy your products. I guarantee you that you'll see how your market share will rise to beyond your expectation. We Sony fans want to see a beautiful Qtwerty phone like TXT with powerful battery backup and equipped with latest technology.

Absolutely flawless inside, screen is the best I've ever seen and appearance is sexier than iPhone. Also it's Japanese glass is six times stronger than Gorilla Glass 3.
