[deleted post]I posted my comment on this couple of days back.I did faced a scratch issue on the back of my purple xperia Z.The scratch mark was on the camera lens,not on the back cover though.Maybe due to the flat design of the phone,i suppose.So the best is to have a back case of a bumper that will slighly elevated the pne when you place it on any surface.

I made some calls again to try to get my Z here in Scandinavia before i go abroad. I bugged a guy to check the dates and he found out that their supplier expected to get some units tomorrow tuesday (but not sure). And the suppliers warehouse is far there in southern Sweden. The guy in the store said possibly they could have the Z on Thursday or Friday if teh suplier get them tomorrow, but in what numbers? 6 pieces! Thats really nothing for a big store located in the busiest downtown mall in a fairly big city (by Scandinavian standards its big). In other words, its not gonna be easy to get one this week.

[deleted post]havent faced any scratches as such i have the white color so even if there is a scratch it would not show up... regarding the front screen the factory screen protector is pretty good, u dont even realise its there.. iv never been a fan of screen protectors and cases... my iphone 5 got scratched its a phone.. minor knicks and bumps are bound to happen....

By the way, SONY Mobile PH posted that Z and ZL will launch at the same time, first week of April as previously reported, i guess this is valid for Phili, Malay and Indo, and maybe others. But no one is interested in ZL anyway so it's not big news.

You can take out the antishatter film without difficulty, i did it in my xperia P when i scratched it. It seems you will lose the logo, though (not on my XP).

This is backed up with 2GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of internal storage. The phone has 4G capabilities. On test runs, the phone actually outperforms all smartphones with similar chips, including the Galaxy Note 2.
Battery life and overheating are two problems the Xperia Z suffers from after intense mobile gaming or extended use. We suspect this is simply because Sony hasn’t put any layers of protection to the stop heat and the battery isn’t large.

is it just me or the battery xz is terrible i use it for 3h it get hot and the battery is at 6% whAT a pity is looks so nice

[deleted post]don't even think to use this phone without cover case, very soft and fingerprint aggressive. Best solution , take a white one and a niece Krusell back cover. I also using screen protector , but its doesn’t help much

How about the scratch resistance in the Sony Xperia Z smartphone? I ask this 'cause in some reviews on the web I read that the glass panels on the phone are easely scratched especially the one on the back. In some comments they blame the plastic anti-shatter film of this. Is this true? One of this reasons I want this phone is because it doesn't need any kind of protection or cover (at least that's what SONY claims in one their advertisements), I'll be very thankfull for your help!

i bought this phone, its a nice phone feels good in the hand, not bulky at all weight is evenly distributed. the screen is good, although i noticed a bit of washout when u select the menu screen i had applied the standard Xperia theme.
On the battery front i have just had it for 2 days now so its kinda hard to comment on that.
although i am thinking of passing it on to my brother, i cannot use a 5inch screen phone .. its tooo big .. i was using a iphone 5 and before that SG3.. the SG3 was great until every person in my office decided to have it.
there is a big difference in size compared to iphone 5 and XZ. anyone who is used to 3.5 - 4 inches will find it lil hard to adjust this in the pocket.
hope it helps, it is a great phone no doubt ... i hope in the coming months same feature phone screen size down to a 4inch ... 5inches is too big.
