First impression, this phone rocks! Waterproof and premium looks are a huge plus for me, I live in a tropical country and when it rains, it pours. I'm gonna buy this beauty, $800+ is fine for me, I can afford it because I have a job. Battery life ain't a big deal. When i'm in my office I have my computer, at home I have my custom laptop.

its a perfect phone in every way and people are coming up with useless views that they dun want to open the flaps to charge etc.

I wonder why you guys keep posting bad reviews bout SONY Xperia Z?!
Convincing other ppl nt 2 buy SONY?
U guys r paid by the company / scared ur phone will lose the market?
We SONY lovers wont do those cheap things~

M using this device all I can say go for note 2 best battery life . Sony battery is very poor

This phone is probably the best on the market in terms of feature and design. They should have pack the infrared though so I can use it as a remote control. Oh and why are only china phones including tv recievers and double sim capabil
Anyway 100 thumbs up sony. Keep the innovation going. Real good phone.

samsung are no longer the best android maker, unless they make galaxy s4 better than this (which i doubt will happen)

htc are in big trouble. samsung has been increasing their lead in the android manufacturers, while sony have now attacked htc into 2nd place. and htc just cant compete with nokia's brilliance in the windows phone manufacturers.

this phone looks great, great specs, dust water proof, but only one issue concerns me, since it is water proof, the whole phone has to be enclosed, so the earphone jack, charging socket etc are all enclosed, and this is a bit annoying for me coz u have to open the flap everytime u wanna listen to music and charging it.
maybe i'll go for ZL, which is not water proof.

Yep, not much chance to get my beloved Z this week. I actually called the company and they said if it reached a participating store in my area this coming week then i could pick it up there, but then i lose the discount for the online order.

No thanks but im not going to hong kong if i get a problem, i need a warranty from one of the two countries where i am staying. I posted here before that i had doubts about buying this in Europe because i wanted Philippine warranty, decided to get it here anyway but that was when i was planning to stay here until end of April.
But who cares, i will get iphone5 instead now. Its so innovative. And the Xperia Z forum is the place to stay for people who have no interest in Z, am i right? Especially for Note 2 fanboys this is THE place to be.

Second: Its all know by Sony that the Xperia Z has a faulty display, thats why the new batch get a new screen.
I have one, it looks damn good, better Than the T screen.
