[deleted post]That's all your LG got, big battery and no more, just a regular android. LG case chips, easily scratch, no resale value, and kind'a square shaped phone. Xperia p vs any highend LG quality wise LG loose.

And the bad contrast ratio, well my sxs, with almost the same contrast as the sxz, crushes the pentile amoled with unlimitiled contrast. So it's no biggie if that's what sammy brings with amoled agaisnt "ancient" tft lcd.

I'm really getting bummed out by all the comments on the screen quality, but that fact that its water resistant. I just can't pass it up, as it's the only one offering such a package.

& im going for Xperia Z,
Only thing is 1.5 Quad-core than the 1.7 on HTC One
But that's not even noticable
Xperia Z is a Beast Performer after HTC one on Specs
But, Xperia Z is better I think,
gives more screen size with almost the same size,
More MegaPixel & better Camera (Check the Images if u want)

Suggest you wait untill 14th March to see what Sammy has got up its sleeve with SGS4.
Xperia Z - Water proof / dust proof but with mediocre screen with bad contrast ratio in its class and less powerfull CPU compared to HTC One
HTC One - Better design, new UI but as per the review their new camera does not live upto the mark and even under performing compared to last yrs iphone 5 camera.
So better wait for Samsung GS4 which is expected to pack better hardware then the above two at the same time packed with better built in features.

Whom ever complaining about the viewing angles are not realistic! who is going to view their smart phone screen from an angle more than + or - 10 degree from its surface? so there is no question of viwing angles as long as the phone is viwed by the user only! i have an xperia neo which i bought on sept 2011 n still in service with android 4.04(sony release). It had a motherboard fault and was rectified under warranty (at the last month of warranty!. I trust sony and nokia phones than any other brand, they are the best.
Samsung sucks!! i have a samsung Tab2(P3100) and galaxy pocket (which is a waste)
