And I can attest that my Note II TRUTHFULLY lasts 8 hours + with 100% screen brightness, surfing and downloading torrents at the same time. You were doing a 3D game as you stated with that 6 hours on the Note II. You know it can last more than 8 hrs with 50% screen brightness, if you keep that on. You might argue that the XZ has a smaller battery - well, Sony should had made it with a 3000mAh + battery. Please do tell us how long the XZ can do a 3D game on a single charge.

I have a note 2 and i know too well that it is not a great phone, lets stop pretending it is. The display is horrible with bad colors and banding and clipping, and giant pixels and very bad quality small fonts. Lets be truthful, as you said?

Read a small review in 2dinside dot no", its in norwegian so use translator if you cant read swedish or danish/norwegian. He said the battery lasted him 2 days and he listed the good battery life as one of the main advantages. He didnt say what kind of usage but i doubt its only standby when you receive an unreleased phone to write a review about it. He also praised the display.
Friday is the big launch day in 60 countries so i am quite sure i get my phone in a weeks time, i will do some side by side testing with the Note 2.
Also about the battery, a lot of fanboys have completely forgotten that Nexus 4 scored LESS screentime in the tests in Engadget. It really is only bashing, im telling you guys seriously, i can drain my Note 2 dry in less than 6 hours.

Why is it that Sony Haters always comment on the Viewing Angles like its the most important thing in the spec. sheet and if a Smart Phone is missing this feature, they make it sound like the phone is useless. But when we Sony Lovers Reply about it stating that its not that important as nobody views his phone from a 90 degree angle or more, why is it that nobody has anything to say?!? You wanna know why?!? Because its the truth. And they are too damn stunned as to what to reply back so they just bash the battery and it not being Samshit with platic finish.. So to all Viewing Angle freaks.. Make love with your viewing angles.. i dont give a shit about it and i Love this Phone even if Samshit Galaxy SIV comes out.. I have faith that It will never beat it aside from your precious Viewing Angles.. LOL is all i can say to yah.. :D

This is a review by cnet of the Xperia T, bear in mind that no one would suggest the T's screen is as good as that of the Xperia Z....end of story and game over haters!

Although it lacks the vibrancy and deep, bold blacks of a Super AMOLED Plus panel, the Xperia T's screen is blessed with bright, accurate colours and impressive viewing angles. It's also refreshingly exempt from the speckled effect that often afflicts PenTile AMOLED-packing phones, like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
The screen isn't entirely dissimilar to the one seen on the Galaxy Nexus, however. This is one of the first phones to follow Google's blueprint for the perfect Android phone and it does away with capacitive buttons entirely, incorporating them instead into the display.
The Back, Home and Multi-tasking icons aren't actually there at all -- they are part of the display and vanish when the screen powers down. If you have money, buy sumthing that is bold and beautiful and not the plastic only because it is selling HOT. Some people just buy things only because it is selling a lot, and would never try to see that there can be something better.
My previous comments were in reply to some one like that only. So honestly, I would say, whatever you buy, put in sum research and buy sum thing which looks good at least and not all plastic. It would be no big deal if people still buy S4 plastic only because it is Sammy.
Couple of years back, no one even looked at sammy saying, who buys a sammy? lolz

Sony Xperia Z: Battery life
In use the Xperia Z not only lasted a day but went a good way through a second. We went 31 hours and still had 20 percent of the battery remaining. We achieved this with moderate usage and the Stamina Mode switched on.

Those are the most hilarious reasons I have ever seen. Looks like either you don't have enough money to buy a Sony or you regret your decision that you bought a plastic sammy. I bought S3 and regret it the most now. That is nothing but a crap. Anyhow,
1. Do you even know the difference of contrast ratios or do even know why AMOLED is better? Lolz, first study some engineering. AMOLED is cheap piece of tech for companies who do now want to do Deep R&D. This is the only reason why Apple, Sony and HTC are still sticking their Guns to this. Anyhow, Sony has the best TV Display tech in world, looks like you would want challenge that as well.
2. Battery? Looks like you dont have any work to do. Even if you have such a phone with good specs, I dont think you can sit and watch and play with phone for 6 hours to drain the battery. And if you do, this means you really dont have any other work or Job.
3. Waterproof protection. Few Months? Do you think people are fool here or engineers at Sony do not know what they are making
4. Camera? So now you have problem that camera is slightly better? Were you expecting a DSLR from phone or you are gonna use your phone to shoot some fashion portraits? People like you cried on the forums saying that phones do not have SD card slots. When Sony gave you the SD Card slot, now you are saying 13MP is too much data? Woow!
5. Post Service. Yeah, Sony does it bad in USA but not in Asia or Europe. But truly, in US, I never felt the need of service station because 99% times product are of good quality build unlike plastic company.
Now, if you don't want this device, than simply don't looks at it. Why are you forcing others not to look at it? Are you some kind of Plastic company activists? Lolz

sony did not release this phone to get into competition and stay for long. so does any other brands. that's why they introduce new model every time.
this phone was released so that consumers will have a selection. if u like it, buy it. if not, dont buy. as simple as that. exercise your right to choose and buy what u want and shut TFU. no need to convince anybody not to buy this.
