nah,you all's know what? i think samsung always stoled all the brand of phones goodness,like iphone,all the function of iphone is same like in all new brand of samsung,did they won't give up? probably not! look,in xperia z,they have release the one touch mirroring to faster connect to tv,but at the same time,the coming soon of samsung s4 have also the function of one touch mirroring? and xperia z has 13.1 megapixel of camera,samsung s4 ??? now you see that samsung always stole the goodness of all brand new phones have made and make their brand have better way of it.. so you all's the haters of sony,don't just talk like samsung is the best :) has you know samsung is a theft... so,samsung haters,dont be mad okay :) sony already do a good work overall to make sony's fan happy for it...

My owner experiences with various phones tells me that HTC and Samsung is out of the equation. LG is still on Ice Cream Sandwich, and Motorola is not available in most of the world in addition to using crappy pentile amoled displays. Xperia Pro is still the best android phone i had and Sony is the only tier one manufacturer to make good phones.
HTC is the worst still. Those who buy HTC One and Butterfly, i LOL at them, they will regret, for sure. Just wait a few months and they all start rooting their phones to try to justify their failed investment. Same as we see on OneX and OneX+ today. Poor people but they are warned and cant blame anyone else, everyone with a brain would understand that there are very good reasons why HTC is not doing well.

Great phone, but too expensive. For sure this phone can outsell the iphone 5 & S3 if they can retail Xperia Z at $300-400.

Watching content more than one person at the time was good. Look at the side by side of the Z and the Note 2, which one is more visible from an extreme angle here? I've still never been in a situation where I thought better viewing angles would have made my phone any better than it already is.

But the thing that puzzles me is that sony is the lone defaulter here and they refuse to change.
They've been using these tft screens for quite sometime which not only have narrow viewing angles but low contrast and washed out colours as well when compared to modern LCD tech like IPS,PLS etc.the bravia engine does come to the rescue but only when viewing multimedia from the native apps.for the rest of the time it's a just a plain tft screen.
So it's more than viewing angles u see.
They should switch to a better grade of LCD panels imo.

Yes, it's maybe little more confortable have it, but you don't need it most of the time.

Xperia Z have a very superior screen but the viewing angle. Its a small problem.

Anybody if given a choice will take a screen with gud viewing angles and there will certainly be lot of choices when other 5" FHDs do arrive.
Besides it doesn't hurt to have gud viewing angles when u have ur phone kept on the desk,docking station or in ur car.

Besides i'd give a more detailed review of gsmarena 10 x times more importance than cnet's.
