One of the reason why samsung makes it to the top cause of marketing advertisement, influence of the suces of galaxy series. Plus company brand. For me, gs4 will be highly participated and will win. But with the influence of xperia series and xperia z. Sony will be a beter position and eat up market share.

it's ok if you like samsung very much....
i do like samsung to.....
but sony had something morewhich any other company cant do....
and in my country.. Indonesia...
...samsung is more expensive... than sony..with same or more good spesification than samsung....
i dont know way....
but after searching any reason.... my opinion... it's because the raw material of samsung more expensive than sony... and it's because raw material of samsung is original sony material...
not at all materials but very important material... like camera...

The reason... moreI got myself a Galaxy Note my friend for also 2 year It doesn't look like any iphone I know. If Samsung did copy the iphone, it was on the Original Galaxy, the GS2 and the Samsung table 10.1 inch. But this is not enough for a company to top the sell in the market. Do you know how many Chinese's phone looks exactly like iphone but doesn't sell like Samsung?
As a owner of a Galaxy Note, I'm telling you, it is a super phone not for copying iphone but for is OS Android, the featurings very good battery not like the Maxx but still good, HD screen, and so on.
I'm not fan of the UI so use Nova and also don't like the build quality but still this phone still look great after more than an year.
In another hand the Xpera T or V are good devices but people didn't go for it they choose the GS3 or the Note 2.
I will say it again Xperia Z is a very nice device which deserved respect, but we are just in Q1 so let see how the Xperia Z will stand against the others.

The reason why the Galaxy series selling good thanks the copy from the Iphone and Ipad design, otherwise the Galaxy series was a flop.
Samsung take the risk to steal the design from Apple.
And now they get reward for their stealing stuff from Apple.
That's why Apple sues Samsung all those times, Samsung play a very dirty game.

AnonD-103271, 12 Feb 2013dont care if tamtung s4 will be a lot faster than xperia z.... moreWell say, you will buy the Xperia X 'cause is Sony but people will but the GS4 because is Samsung and in this game, Samsung is a winner with the Galaxy S series and Note series which sell more than any phone in the market.
Here we go the Xperia Z need to be compared to the best to show is pure value, which in my point of view it's having it. But saying if Samsung or any other company release a better phone than Xperia Z, Sony will release a better which isn't always so.
The GS3 beat any phone in general since it was released although some come after it but still the best if not the Note 2 from Samsung.
Sony have the potentiel to become the best but you need to wait for others to release their best phone than you sure Sony is the best.
And again someone silly will make a stupid comment showing how fanboy it is.
I read and post on Samsung, Sony and Moto because they are my favorite company unluck HTC which is good but may not take the top in my opinion.

i'll buy this because its sony. they have their own style and design. they dont copy from others.
surely the hardware of SXZ is more than enough to run all the apps i need.
