I dont see any reason to ge... moreIm confident that the Xperia SP will be a Nexus 4 killer, it will probably not cost noticeable more than N4 in Google Play, and in most of the world where you cannot buy N4 from Play store it will be much cheaper. From the images it looks like Xperia SP is 4.6 inch. then Sony owns both high and mid end, and Xperia L will seal the lower end of budget dual core class by being the successor of Xperia U (hopefully)

And about OS updates, its void, since you need to root and use custom ROM to use USBOTG to expand storage. Nexus 4 will get working USBOTG in updates but same as Nexus 7 it will be only to support mouse and so on, not flashdrives.
And it has no LTE, very poor camera, fragile back cover, and so on. Is this in any way competing with high end Androids?
In countries where there is no play store the Nexus 4 is by far the most overpriced phone, other midrange offerings are a lot cheaper and offers card slots. Plus, we are here because we want Xperia Z, theres no way you can convince us to buy a midrange device instead, and honestly i would rather get Xperia V IF i was looking

I'm puzzled as to how Sony expect people to pre-order without having got a hands on or seen qualified reviews first. This is not an improved version of a previous phone (as the iPhone 4S was to the 4), so people don't have anything to judge it by. The spec seems great, but until one gets to try it out, in particular the camera and general speed of operation, it is all just specs. (I had an Xperia Pro and likes a lot of it, so am optimistic!) Just sad there is no dedicated camera button or wireless charging, although the shop mockup Z I saw had two pogo pin contacts on the side, so perhaps Sony are to release a nice non wireless charging dock?

just a tft capacitive touchscreen in Sony's flagship smartphone?? seems very strange. even my Sony Ericsson neo-v has LED-backlit LCD reality display. there will b so many special things in z's display. Sony should write about that.

Oh please. My Xperia Neo V has a better camera quality than my iPhone 4. Stop talking nonsense. Oh btw, Xperia Z will be available in Malaysia on March. Can't wait.

Z = 32gb microSD and ZL = 64gb microSD. I don't get that ! Also wish manufacturers would stop playing stupid marketing games with the 16gb only of ROM. This is meant to be a flagship, put it out with at least 64gb plus microSD up to maximum of SDXC standard. Apart from that these 2 phones look like Somy is back in the game.
