This phone could be a winner,excellent specs,beautyful design,LTE.It seems,it has everything.Except one.The removable battery.I just cant understand,why to follow this new trend,that manufacturers sacrifice removable battery for a few mm thinner phone? Functionality isnt more important,than a thinner looks?And its not because of the waterproof feature,cause other flagship phones( without waterproof body)are getting non removable batterys,also.

Take a look at the LED TV series of both companies. Those of Sony look very similar to those of Samsung, but were designed and produced much earlier. Those of Samsung with original designs are not so appealing. However, I live in the US, the birthplace of rampant capitalism. So, this does not influence my decision when it comes time to buy a new device. I let the combination of better features and design along with a lower budget make my decisions for me.

Both are the WORLD GREATEST manufacturers of electronic devices....
so GUYS, stop nagging, complaining or saying gibberish... if your feeling goes more to Sony then stick with It, if It goes more to Samsung then keep It there, and if It's for both, then good for you.
I'm a Sony user since 2008 - Present, and fan since I was born, but I have no problem with Samsung!
I love Sony, and this is It.

Beautyful design,killer specs.But what the hell is this non-removable battery?!?It seems,an idiot trend is coming now for the new flagship phones(except Samsung),that they sacrificing removable batterys for making 2-3 mm thinner phones.Who the hell cares about a 3 mm thinner phone,if you are not able to remove,or change the battery?!?Ridiculous...

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2013dude get your facts right, not only samsung has the most po... moreAnd what features are those? On my Note 2, only Smartstay, it works very well. Smart Rotation does not work at all, it only makes it much harder to use the phone while lie down.
And then? Weather tags for photos? MOre and more useless menu options for various objects, yet important ones like "edit before call" are not there?
Wjhat about call log? Oh i forgot, high end samsungs dont have a call log... It was replaced by that.. that.. LOG! This is so bad that i cannot use the appropriate word for it in these forums, i will get banned. Who would have dreamed that we would ever see phones without call logs? Its insane, really. What a LACK of features!
