if Samsung will brings the S4 with 12cores or even core i7 extreme and 12GB of DDR6 RAM(LMAO)... then, Xperia Z will remain the best phone of all its aspects and specs in 2013...
if u consider the best phone by its CPU, GPU and RAM and u forget about the rest of the specs... then pay of it, and you're so LOYAL CUSTOMER!

SGS IV will be more bigger than Xperia Z
..........Samsung once UP once DOWN....
back in the days.. on 2011, during a drop TEST was done to SGS II VS iPhone 4s, results was: Samsung WON! (some minor scratches on its edges - iPhone front and rear glass was shattered, and looked pathetic with extra scratches...
back to the stage, in 2012, a drop TEST was performed to: SGS III VS iPhone5, but this time things was flipped against Samsung.... Results: iPhone5 WON! with some minor scratches on its edges... Samsung GS III display status: shattered along with some scratches + battery and back cover came apart...
That's why I said that Samsung Galaxy S II is way better than SGS III in everything, despite these specs.

1ghz (a Dual core CPU ) along with 1gb of ram runs as rocket!

If Sony make a nice phone, it doesn't mean it they make better phone than Samsung. From the original Samsung Galaxy S, S II, Note, Note II Samsung did the best android phones.
The Galaxy S4 is promising and can beat this Sony. So what about the Note 3?

Not sure why everyone is whinging about viewing angles! I own the Xperia T and the viewing angles are just fine. The Z is way better than and follows the same principles. I don't look at my phone from the side and do not particularly care for others on the tube/metro to see what I am watching/reading on my handset either!

I also know how you may feel about the viewing angles and ll but I have tried the Xperia V just recently and I was just stunned! I got no issues with it! Reality display worked for the TFT just to tell you honestly. Maybe on videos, the colors are not that good but again, Reality display might really be meant for you to see and try it out yourself to believe. I like it even better than Sammy's AMOLED which happens to be over saturated.

I like Sony brand, I own an Xperia phone also, but there are two things that I am worried about and one I don't like
First of all from what I saw on youtube screen has very bad viewing angles especially the black ones compared to IPS of HTC DNA, secondly it hasn't gorilla glass and what I don't like is those on screen buttons instead of separated ones

Dude, seriously?! Do you even follow what's going on in the news, or do you just make it a habit to make up your own stuff?
The xperia S did NOT, beet the S2. The xperia Z did NOT beat the S3. And if you think other wise, them you need a reality check. Sony is suffering b/c as usual, they are late to the game. And now better devices are looming on the horizon.
I like the Xperia Z. It's the best phone Sony has released so far, and I believe, the best smart phone so far. I even had thoughts of selling my Galaxy device and buying the Z on release. But then, I begin to wonder what the S4 and Note 3 will be like. And then I tell myself, I think I'll wait and see what the other guys have to offer first. Sony released the Z and ZL a little bit too and a little bit too early in my opinion.

I do not care if the screen of this phone is just a TFT. Anyways, I have seen most of the videos on youtube and its not that bad, considering I just played on an Xperia V and the screen was sharp! What more with this? V's screen was even as good as the S3's in my opinion! The viewing angle that you are all talking about, making bash out of it is senseless! You won't even make your phone a TV for god's sake!? Just admit it fanboys and haters of Sony, they're starting the game right and this will certainly be the right move for them! If price is a let down, wait for the S4 from Sammy and Apple's 5s. They will be much expensive than the Z coz if Sammy puts the octocore, then the crappy Apple releases its planned multicolored non-sense upgrade then you will see! haha! Sony!!! You have my support! I am now saving for your Xperia Z! ;)

AMAMZING WITH 13.1MP camera and also has 2.2MP secondary camera.SONY is always known for its audio quality and superb camera standrd.It's the best android smartphone which i have reviewed till now.It is also dust and water resistant.The ppi pixel density of 441 is afar ahead of other phones(the max before xperia z was 342 ppi) and has the newest version of android i.e jellybean v4.1.2.I compared this smartphone with many top phones but at last found it superior to them.The phone looks very luxurious and the design is a master piece.Its simply amazing!!!!!

AnonD-105282, 25 Jan 2013its really good when it is 2ghz then it is equal to samsung... moreohh realy...............then what abt 2014 2015 2016.....this trend will be continued saumsung then sony then htc,, so u cant say saumsung will beat, sony xperia s was launched to beat S2 and dd it, xperia z s launched to beat s3 and dd it now something else will be alunched to beat s4, now we'll thing other way round s2 was launced to beat xperia arc s3 was launched to beat sxs and s4 wll be launched to beat sxz so it wll be continued brother the only thing is brand value so for me both company are same, samsung good for bench mark and processors and sony good for designs rest other aspects r almost same, so s4 is not a monster currenlty xperia z s ya but latter s4 wll be and then someone else, but accept the fact that sony did realy better this time this is what matters dude.....comptition should alwz be with in own companies so the question how great s4 wll be compare to s3 and note 2 not other companies if not much then its not a monster, for eg sony's best phone for 2012 for me was Xperia SL or S but xperia z relased with a vast features compare to SXS you got t competitons with in makes you a Monsteror benten what ever

Sony finally worried about to offer a flawless product. And they did, But there are two things that I'm afraid of: the screen: TFT? I don't like the look of the display at some points that's old technology. In the other hand; the battery. However; for a solid opinion of the phone we have to wait until it release date.
