Indeed the finest phone ever made by Sony!
As HTC has prooved that the S-LCD can compete with Amoled, so will Sony demonstrate that so can TFT.
At that ppi, there is nothing really that the competition can do, because even a better techically display goes beyond what our eyes can perceive.
So the screen is as good as it can get.
Sun visibility is more important than angle visibility, the later only matters for living room screens, because they are adressed to more viewers from different angles.
So if you worry about smth on Z's screen, worry about sun visibility.
The camers and rest of the specs are flawless and for the very first time the software actually improves the hardware in every department, bravia, walkman, cybershot departments finally deliver what was just a promise up until now!
But how much those specs will last, LG and some Chinese firms already have the answer.
For Sony's piece to last, they need continue improving the software and support this device.
For prestige and marketing purposes alone they should and they will, if they are smart, they really need to keep supporting this device like Samsung does with their Galaxy S fagships, only then they could really compete with the best.
The long term advanatges of this phone are its resistance to water, humidity speciically, which is a problem that haunts all phones, even the ones used indoor only.
And if they manage to deliver with the stamina mode, they shall leave a mark for everyone to follow...

The screen is perfect.
For the people complaining about price, do you think one smartphone with the frame made by glass fibre polyamide and tempered glass on front and back with anti-shatter film will be cheap as one full crappy plastic samsung, YOU ARE WRONG ...
Sorry the price is fair, and even better than any overpriced Iphone which is weaker anyway from any point of view.

i think this will be the end of all the issues of the front camera, battery life, system, etc. but i hope this fit in my pocket..xD and also the huge price coz 4 sure this will be so expensive.

maybe..longer battery life...
everything is fine about these xperia series,
i have my own ion...im just not satisfied on the battery...

why cant i just have a xperia z with sony's hr camera exmor sensor looks build quality bravia engine xloud stamina mode
Top that with HTC's sense 4.0 and it's cool widgets
and Samsungs cool soft features (like smart stay and that screen swipe for screen capture)
I'm sure it can be done with rooting blah blah but thats alot of effort.
