I suppose that Sony will have a stronger CPU(maybe 1.7 GHZ Quad Core), the same amount of Ram as this, a 16 MP camera, 32 GB of internal storage, and a much better battery than this have.
I must admit that Sony is working hard. What I don't understand guys is why they removed the cool SE logo???

About the camera, my brother has galaxy s2 and guess what, its RUBBISH compared to my ARC ( pictures can be attached to support my words)
As for the screen, supported by BE, the Arc's HD screen is quite impresive.. Check video s on youtube if u don't believe...
The WIFI is pretty much Normal
Qs for the build quality, my phone has significantly less crackd than my brother'd GS2 although my phone is older..
So honestly, its obvious that you are a Samsung guy who considers all other brands shit without taking alook at them ..

The Nokia Lumia 920 has some great features, but I would not say that is the world's best smart phone. WP8 is a new OS, people are used to buy Android phones, because Android is more famous. A lot of people hates the UI of WP8(me too). If you ask me, Nokia should make Android or Meego phones to take the crown back from Samsung.

People are buying... moreDon't agree with you on much but do in regard to iPhone but for diffrent reasons, the user interface is as boring as watching paint dry. Then again, after poor experience with Samsung customer service and support in regard to the SGS3, hairline cracks by the usb charger connector, it could have 10 cores and wake you up brew the coffee will not consider it on a point of principle. Can't stand Nature/Touchwiz UI either! Defo buying the Xperia Z!

I think I found my new phone! Need water and dustproof as will be used outside under rough conditions. Great design and great hardware too. Even a cardslot.

Samsung and Apple use Sony sensors. The Xperia Z is features with HDR(High Dynamic Range) something even the S4 will not have. * cores for a phone is utter stupidity in my opinion

Sony made the Camera SENSOR for SG S3 n SG Note 2 n also the iphone 5. N further samsung will get its galaxy S4's camera sensor from sony.

dude....finally a dream fone in the making!!!!!!!!! love it to the core!!! i wanted perfect fone with waterproff capabilty....5' hd display,quad core krait processors,battery,bravia engine 2, and most important good internal and EXPANDABLE MEMORY which was incomplete in sony for heavy freak like me.....i always loved them but was forced out to galaxy s2 due to limitations....this is my nextttt phone...my dream fone. samsung,iphone,nokia,htc all of them watch out u are gonna be screwed as they cannot produce this elegant design and camera quality with waterproof durabilty!!!!

It will be almost the same with iPhone buyers, there are things that will make people buy it and there are things that make people won't go for. It's a free world, your needs is not ours.

This phone Xperia Z has coolness in its feature , and people who still on iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3 ,i'm sorry i have bought htc 8x which is better than iphone and galaxy and i'm deciding to buy the Sony Xperia Z , Yeah ;D
