Amazing phone !!!
1.premuim designe
2.great performance no lags
3.fantastic cam with AR effects
4.will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop updates
5.good battery :1 day of average use remain arround 20%
the display of z1 good but doesn't look like ips or Super amoled
I just got the phone last week,i m really happy and satiesfied getting this phone

Had the phone for a year now. Incredible camera performance however the device is disappointing in many other aspects. Mains issues are: Default messaging app crashes constantly, phone overheats frequently causing draining of battery and Sony Walkman app does not sync to car Bluetooth correctly. Overall a disappointing handset.

horrible handset.......wen i ws buying it.... i ws nt knowing dat it would trouble me dis mch....... really awful..... it can hang anytym.... anywhere
camera will stop working wen it wants to.....!! wasted my dad's 39 thousand bucks..... a micromax will work bttr i guess

G'day all,I've had the z1 since the release in Aus with virgin.Bit over 12 months.I live out in the rural area & chose the z1 over the rest because of it's IP58 rating."Late September 2013".It has been my 1st Android ph(I have been trying to avoid android for years,because of google)I have had.The ph came with the charging cradle,which was a bonus.A mate in WA bought 1 outright & didn't get that.I let the ph with the antivirus it came with.(McAfee),That ran out in a month.But I had put on Maleware Bytes,AVG & Comodo free due to the programs features.Also had put in a 32gig sndsk card + 5.5gigs of music for when I'm driving.I had loaded whatapp,viber,kik,zello,skype as well,because I have a good data plan.I didn't upgrade the OS because my ph was working fine & I don't believe in fixin things if they aren't broke.The only things that annoyed me about the z1 was I couldn't plug straight into a amp or car stereo using a standard 3.5mm jack.Wired into a different standard,same as the later iph's.When I sit the ph upwards in it's cradle,the speakers are muffled & the lack of removing the back & replacing the battery.Other than that I have had no problems with that ph.My hands free sits in the car off the windscreen & we had last year in summer 35degC+ day after day last summer & not a problem with over heating.I've used it as wifi hot spot & on wifi,all works the way it should.stamina mode puts charging times to 3-4 days.I had just bought a samsung as a spare,Ace 3.It's on telstra where my z1 is on optus & they have been stuffin about with their towers in the area.The samsung has no battery stamina compared to the z1.I hav had samsungs for years,even the ipaqs pda's.MHL onto a big arsed screen in HD is beautiful.Also the sonys are the only ph's on the market that you can use the micro usb port & keep the ph charged at the same time using a magnetic charging cable easily bought cheap off the net.I just can't believe how so many people have had so many problems with the z1.The camera is a bonus also have used it in normal & low light & it works fine.When listening to music over bluetooth with good head phones it is good.I just remember I did have an original sony walkman cassette player.I have dropped the ph accidentally & my hands free in the 4x4 has let go & the ph has hit the floor,no cracks or scratches & I live out in the scrub in Aus.I know people who have had problems with there sIII's & sIV's & my faithful sony just keeps on going.
