My phone is not making the ring tone or vibrating wnen a call is coming in, it just notifies the missed call.
I have checked out the settings and it is not silenced, any advice please?

Almost a year passed since i bought my Z1. Amazing phone with great and strong features and then came the software updates... and the phone started the downfall, applications were started to shut down unexpectedly and camera app freezes almost every time i use it. After few months came the latest version of android update 4.4.4, who supposed to solve all the problems,but it make the Xperia Z1 even sluggish... And finally today my phone got some nasty moisture inside... well done Sony. I want a replacement now...

Excellent phone as i was looking for the most good looking phone in the market.
The bad side is low sound volume and camera pixels burst when zoomed

I've been using this phone for more than a month now and I'm very satisfied with its performance. Battery is great as long as users know how to take good care of it. UI never lags, 2GB RAM is excellent as well as the camera. The only con I've noticed is the touchscreen problem. Sometimes it doesn't select the exact position where you pressed. But whenever you encounter that, you can just lock the screen and unlock it again. It will fix the problem. Other than that, I love this phone and Z3 is still no match to this product. There are so many cons and bugs in Z2, so if I were you, I'd rather buy Z1 instead of paying more for Z2 and Z3 which will only cause headaches. Also, don't forget to use charging dock. If the flip is removed, then the phone is not waterproof anymore.

Worst mobile I ever purchased, flip side of story is Xperia Z1 is non reapairable and during warranty period they will replace with refurbished set only & after warranty company will give 20% discount on new one

Matt, 04 Sep 2014I have had the same problem, but only after I have taken a ... moreI had the same camera problem, the entire screen freezes and only a restart would fix it, I don't know if it's a memory problem or just the software, but I can tell you it's probably z1 biggest flaw, hopefully Sony will fix that.

It looks a tad better, doesn't have film that can get easily scratched. It is poorer on gsm signal. Half from z1. Battery on a z2 is double the z1

I wonder if it's a memory issue that can fill up, even though the phone's 'hard drive' still has space... It is the most annoying thing about the Z1 that I have found...

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2014I have had this phone for a while now. Very fluid and fast ... moreI haven't noticed this on mine. I can go for days with moderate use of the phone before I need to recharge. Some of my mates were hassling me out for not getting an iPhone, but when I mentioned the battery life they all shut up very fast! :)
(I hope it's a simple setting you can change to make it work better...)

my Z1 vibration suddenly stop working correctly and its make a very bad noise on vibration and then its just a noise and no vibrate!!!!
how i fix it?!!
and why this happen?
i see so many z1 owner that has same problem.

i decided to bay sony xperia z2 , but in my country this is a huge deference in price between z2 and z1 , about ( 56.75 % ) , could you help me to till me if the real deference between tow devices is deserve this big deference in price , thanks for advance !!

hey, i need to know how one generates a security password. my Z1 sometimes asks for this especially when i try to enter settings.

It's an awesome phone . Without any doubt take it . But this phone use a lot of ram as because it's operating version is new but hardware is old .
