this is better than Z3 or Z3c if you're going to compare the specs just minimal improvements almost the same features with Z3/c
processor 2.2ghz vs 2.5ghz
front facing speakers
same chipset
sim size micro vs nano etc
so why buy a new model if you can have on the previous model
I'll stick with Z1 anyways SONY is still the BEST for me

I've had this phone for 6 months and seem to have nothing but problems. It freezes on me all the time and just recently if I make a phone call the screen shuts off and I'm unable to hang up the phone. It doesn't matter how many time I try to press the power button it won't come back on. I have to wait for the other person or even their answer machine to hang up on me before the screen will light up again. Also when I first got it I ran in under some water to see if it worked and the next day the camera was full of condensation. It took weeks for it to finally go away. I'm getting a different phone this weekend. I'm fed up.

No Dought Xperia Z1 is best phn in the market..
but the customer service is worst in the market.
if you submit phn or charger for any fault they not correct the fault. They return the same product after 10or15 days and said there is no fault.
what the HELL is that....
Customer submitted the product dye to some reason but service centre clearly said that there is no fault.
U submitted my Portable charger in service centre because there is many problems heating phone and charger too, discharging, nt full charged the phone.
Service centre check the product and after 15 days they told there is no problem.They also treated very badly.
Can i ask a question to the sony xperia department. "customers those submit there product to service centre after wasting there valuable tym are FOOLS.."
For that reason i really Hate Sony very much...
Samsung is much better than Sony in that area.

I have had this phone for a while now. Very fluid and fast when browsing. The biggest con is the battery life. It's so absurd. Drains super fast! even when in stamina mode. You can loose as much as 15% charge simply browsing in less than 1 hour. Sony you need to rectify this. A phone that cannot hold charge for a whole day is as good as having no phone at all.

i buy this mob on 30 sep 2014 in poorvika nagercoil...
after that
phone manufacture date is june 2014.. but i think sony relese the kitkat version after 27 june 2014 in india.. i got the mobile with android jelly bean version..
after open the box i turn on the wifi connection and update the phone software jelly bean to kitkat version..
now my mobile (sony xperia z1) is working fine..
i register my mobile in sony online website for warrenty. after register, i download the basic softwares to my z1.. today is the 2nd day..
i'm really happy with this mob...
pros:
1. amazing while playing games like nova 3, shadow gun & dead trigger 2..
2. good display
3. camera clarity is fine..
4. voice is clear while making calls
5. PC companion software is fine but(Nokia ovi suite is the best PC suite till day) Sony need to upgrade PC companion just like Nokia PC suite)
cons:
1. battery backup is too low... i'm always putting in stamina mode, if we play games or watch videos battery is going down quickly..
yesterday i'm continuosly used the opera mini browser and watch videos, with in 2.30 hours battery charge is down fromk 55% to 0 %
2. camara :mobile hangs of while taking pictures
sometime.. i dont know y it happn.. after restating mobile the prop is cure...
3. hearing music: normal quality
but, anyway i'm happy with purchase this mobile..
comparing samsung galaxy s4 its, much better.. because, s4 & s5 amolded screen is easily crack when we put on the pant pocket.. z1 dont have this prob & also s4 & s5 look very cheap, all china make model mobile are coming s4 & s5 models, so s4 & s5 look very cheap mobile,... this is the main reason to take this mob
