I'm going to buy xperia z1 today after awesome experience with xperia zr...
is it a good choice or not if i'm not going to update to kitkat because of issues waiting sony to fix it..

On the Z1 Kitkat is very smooth and nice features. If you upgrade in the phone or with PC companion software, you are getting some problems in few phones. Try to Upgrade or Fresh install full software with SUS (Sony Update Service). Its working very fast & battery backup also is very good. Z1 is Best Phone...

Hi guys.. I have note 3 and I don't like it it's so big & I dropped it once by mistake it becomes wz some scratches and the battery life is too short.. I'm thinking about Z1..
I need ur opinions. .
Do u think if I bought the Z1 from amazon it will work good in united states because we have 4G network here ??

Hi everyone. Im kindly asking if Z1 is worth to buy versus Samsung Galaxy S4. I am certified Sony lover. I have Sony Xperia V LT25i which is a removable battery LTE-dust and waterproof resistant phone with 13 mp camera. My only problem there is the VGA Front Camera. Which i decided to upgrade my phone. My budget-and two comparison phone only is between the two.
I wonder if how many hours the Z1 will last.
I need a serious-concerned answer.
Please share your pros and cons about Z1.

I Have an annoying problem which is my screen going flickering OR Quivering from time to time not usually but actually it is happens >>> my main problem that I can not catch it in order to ask the service centre (it is happens in long interval and randomly ) but as overall I don't have any complains on the screens except this issue .... SO
1-Is it HW or SW problems and if it HW why it comes on long intervals (every day the screen my be flickering one time may be)
2-how I can check my screen (used codes ?)
3-I on android 4.4.2 I don't know whether this problems happened before on jelly bean or not ? so i have to downgrade to test it ?

i why not buy z2 which ia better.
Or wait to see if the latest update .761 will fix bugs existing in built .757
It is on par with s4 or htc one m7, a little faster on gaming.

in jb was one of my best phones ever. Good reception, good sound quality, average screen (angles have issues) and good battery.
In kitkat:
- phone freezes especially in camera or after, but it is usable
- overheating - i don't fully agree. i does get hot but all phones do
- battery is poor in kk - true. 1 day and half moderate to light usage
- camera - 20.7 mpx is a little better overall than s4 or note 3 (it is on par)
Unhappy after kitkat:
- battery life
- freezing (sometimes in messages) or after closing a call ( the screen has a delay)
It is a little heavy and bulky, but you can get used to that.
i would consider, if i were to buy a phone now: htc one m8 (my previous 2 phones were htc desire s and one s and worked like a charm) or samsung s5. Maybe you can check z2, but i haven't read any reviews yet, so i don't know much about it. or wait for 3-4 months and you could buy z3 :)
All modern phones have little bugs, issues (some minor, other big ones), but z1 on kitkat is worse than on jb.

battery consuming,
bad screen quality,
bad camera
freezing
are they right ?
i'm interested in sony xperia Z1 but i dare not buy this due to above problems.
can any sony xperiaZ1 user share your experience or opinion ?
