Isn't it a cheat by SONY that a phone costs 40K doesn't have 4G. I'm talking only about C6902, C6903 has it.

Hi friends i update my xperia z1 to kikat but now it have so much hanging problem some time when i got a call on viber it will hang than i cant pic my call and some time when i got any call on skype than it will hang if any friend know how to solve this problem than plz tell me other wise i m going to sell it because 4.3 is so good for this phone but when i update in 4,4 its working very fake now battery time is low camera is not good
if any one from sony saw this prolem plz slove it because i like this phone so much
other wise i will buy galaxy s5
i am in tanzania plz check the problem and solve it

Z1 is faster at browsing, gaming...battery is slightly better on s4, camera quality a little better on z1.
I went for z1 and i was etremely happy untill kitkat...now i'am so so...ahh, screen is better on s4

It will not fix all... moreYeah all the problems will not settled soon but Google is mainly concern about running of camera in background which is the main reason behind battery drainage. Hope this update will bring good news for z1 users.

Camera will also get slow, sometimes it will hang you phone and restart. By end of this month stable update will hit our country. So if u can wait till end of this month than its ok.. Else upto you.

Stick to Jb for now as the stable update will released will let you know. I'm wondering to downgrade to JB but I did not get the firmware backup before upgrading. So will suggest you to take a backup of your current firmware as if you are not satisfied with KK than you would be having option for downgrading.

Bhai its a minor update.
It will not fix all problems.
I hope the battery drain and camera noise level and quality should be fixed as soon as possible.

Dont upgrade.
M having xperia z1.
Updated it as soon as d update was released.
Now m regretting.
Camera quality becomes more disappointing.
Extremely high noise level.
ISO settings dont help much.
Camera quality is best on android 4.3
And main problem is battery life.
It drains way too quickly.
You can not modify sd card contents on kitkat. So m stuck wd d fact dat i have to use a laptop everytime i want to delete something from my sd card.
On the positive side.. The UI is now more gorgeous. Thats it.

Im using z1 since 3 month other function are strong but i feel aum time the touch brings un respond.the battery heating problem.

Sony has just started rolling out a new Android 4.4.2 KitKat update with build number 14.3.A.0.761 to Xperia Z1, starting with China. Soon we will receive this update in India.:)
This patch will fix the issues we are facing in xperia z1 like reboot,camera lack,battery draining.
