in 4.3 z1 was running smoothly.4 days ago I update z1 in kitkat I found two red cross mark one was network icon n one on sd card sign. I sutdown cell n restart it.after 5 minute cell show no sim card n no sd card.guys iam very disappoint what should I do?

Hi All, my phone has a problem with the camera.
The camera is 20MP but the picel of the picture is very poor. It doesnt take a good clear picture. Who know the problem or experience the same problem?
Please share your problem and how to fix it.

Is anyone having problems with timeshift after kk update? Mine doesn't work if it is on sd card and i have 6 GB free. It takes the pictures but doesn't save them. I haven't
Any solution, other than saving to internal storage?

I've been using this phone since Jan 2014, so far this is the best experience with the phone, the camera is great, sound is good and it os really suitable in all weather condition but the only thing that make me dissappointed is the internal storage. Even though we are given 11GB free memory , all the apps can't be transfer to the Micro SD. This is really a trouble for me.

Lags. When upgrade to KitKat it got worse and would not have top drag menu or the back home and screens buttons at.the bottom. Have to hard reset or keep powering on off all the time till it works. I am selling it for a $120 loss if I can.
I will get Nexus 5 as my old Nexus4 was way better than the Sony rubbish.

I had the phone for 4month now and I love the picture quality. I just love the fact that I can take it to the bathtub with me I have thrown it into the bath tub couple of times just to test it. I ve never experience any problems with it.

Pehaps a little bit of water came in the phone and messed up some important functions? I'm gonna get the Z1 Compact soon because Sony sorted out problems on this phone that were on the big Z1 like viewing angles, performance, battery life etc. So I suggest you look into the Z1 Compact.

The only thing I hate ... moreI don't like the cartoonish look of samsung ui. It is sad that lags. Z1 lags less, and only after kitkat.
The ui is much simplier but with the lack of certain features.
I like the battery, the signal, the looks and of course the camera. I have bought sony smartwatch 2 and works like a charm.
I like my z1 and for me it the right phone.

For 599 euro ,it started to freeze callers couldn't hear me it would call other people while I was on the phone and apps would stop.since then it's been to the repair factory twice and has come back with the same problem leaving me with now a battle on my hands with the shop as I'm insisting on getting my money back and there insisting that the phone has to be returned to the factory for yet a third time,I'm extremely disappointed

Guys , who encounter this
my xperia z1 just got blackout, when i off it using the reset botton at the sim, its off then i try to open it, nothing happends, even if press all the instruction on how to reboot it, nothing happends, when charging nothing happends no led light, even connecting to computer, as in it totally dead,

I bought my Sony xperia z1 in February this year after having an iPhone for 2 years I felt like a change. The main thing that attracted me to this phone was the camera and water resistance. After a week the camera started freezing and other apps were closing themselves. I was told to do a factory reset and my phone was OK for about a month then started to do it again so phones4u replaced my phone after doing several factory resets. 1 day after getting a brand new handset, this phone started to do exactly the same as the old one. Today is the day I take this handset back to phones4u and never choose a Sony phone again.

One of the best phones i have ever had....
Quality is good
Screen is awesome
Camera is great
Performance is excellent
Battery is really satisfying
Loud speaker is not very good
Ear piece is perfect and clear
I have no problem with the zperia z1

G2 looks better, better screen, sleek design and better battery life.
Z1 has better camera (20.7mpxl) as against LG's (13mpxl), its more durable, water resistant and UI is easier
