I have just purchased the Z1 on over the weekend, I have used ACRO S, than a one years old Note 2 and finally Z1. The Sony UI is not as good as SS, Z1 battery performance isn't as good as written on the review (users pls share with me Z1 battery performace,I dont use the phone frequently). Completed my first 8hours charged and when phone was on, 5 minutes later it shows 99%. From my experienced with both Sony and one SS Note2, users from NOTE2 should not wasted money to buy Z1. Sony UI still cannot match SS. Now I will have to use my Z1 for 2 years...bohh hoho:(

My z1 has week network and even week wifi signal too, than my previous note 3 and my present other device Samsung galaxy music duos. Any solutions.

According... morei ask myself the same question everyday, but im gonna go with the xperia z1 , coz the note 3 is just too big! the z1 is almost everything proof and not that big. and you dont need all those features that the note 3 has its useless.

I'm here in Houston, TX. I was considering the Z1. But after reading the article, "Sony Xperia Z1: 3 months on," —Android Authority, I have thus decided against it.
1. I've seen this phone personally at the Houston Galleria. It was full of scratches—some huge. So, this is not a demo model issue as some have suggested. A phone without something similar to Gorilla Glass is outrageous.
2. The SIM is a chore to insert or remove. Yikes!
3. The Sony Store told me updates are only available via a computer if outside the IME region. Thus, an unlocked Sony Z1 is a dubious proposition for frequent travelers. An unlocked phone, especially with so many bugs, not easily updated is outrageous.
4. I watched the drop-text on YouTube. The phone would not respond after the first drop. Yikes! What good is water and dust resistance on a device so easily damaged if dropped?

May I ask if the metal frame and rubber lining of z1 is replaceable? coz my fone got scratched accidentaly on its frame., I want to change it.
