but we are talking about serious hanging n I have been using these mobiles for a long time so have u ever seen when ur mobile is hanged and u cant do anything even if u press power button or volume the mobile remains still hanged.. yeah it happened to me once when I was using may applications at a time my device stopped working and there was no option remaining except when the battery ends
im sure u have never faced this prob but once if u will face it then u will know what I was talking about
So im not supporting any brand , im just telling the fact
bcz the Processor n ram has a limit that it can hold,when we use more applications at a time !it sure cant handle it
so the fact is fact no offense

AnonD-163131, 18 Nov 2013i don't know about that sir, i've read your opinion previou... moreHe is really lying, the reset is independent of os or software, its impossible to have such a hang without having a defective main board, its simply not how things work, if it were true then pulling battery would not work also. Power plus vol.up is a hardware function and will always work. Same as on pc, hold power button for 4 seconds will always work, it's a pure hardware feature that is 100% independent of OS/software.
You can very easily implement such a time delay in your own electronic circuits, essentially you need only a capacitor and a resistor, now tell me how a pc or phone could hang "more than that".

There's no need to ever pull the battery on a Samsung, just press and hold power for 10 seconds. On my Xperia Z, which had never hanged, you could press and hold power and vol.up for around 4 seconds. A technical person would know this.

I dont have Z1 but my friend has , I had Xperia Z before so thats why I stated whats the prob was with it and also my friend is facing the same prob for non removable battery..bcz now I have Samsung Note 3 ,Lumia 920 and Galaxy Grand Duos n IPHONE 5S bcz Im a Technical intrested Person so I just use n change devices n survey on whats new and while on these devices if my Device hangs ,I just pull out the battery n insert again n then it works as a fresh one :) so the issue of non removable battery is really annoying when it happens to anyone at some precious time...

Xperia z1 best android phone,beat note 3 and LG nexus 5 even with kitkat.

so I had to wait until the battery ends or when it restarts by it self
Anyways I dont know why they dont Make Removable Battery

eileen, 17 Nov 2013if it hang try to long press the on and off button and the ... moreSure I know that u r right on what u saying.but im not talking about that kind of hanging ,im talking about the problem when it hangs and even if u do the reboot trick the screen remains same as when it was hanged ,same screen shot .so there r 2 solutions at that time! One that let the battery charging of device come to end so that u can start it again byurself .and the second solution is let it be restarted by its own .
so I know everybody has his own intrest n his own choice to like what he wants but as an opinion the fact is fact n it remains same :)
but overall Sony has its own Value its own lovely design ...

and About nonremoveable battery ! Yeah its a problem bcz whenever the phone hangs ,we cannot shutdown it immediately or restart it quickly so we have to wait for the processor to do it by itself and this happens many times with any1
but at last I have to say none of any device has full ultimate specifications
so still have to wait ! Not supporting any brand but just giving an opinion
