Got this phone yesterday
-Screen is great, big bright sharp and beautiful. Viewing angles are certainly noticable but only if you look at the phone from very weird angles.
-Blazing fast, no lag at all whatever you run on it even the most demanding games.
-Sony version of android is clean, simple and fast.
-Camera is certainly not as good as it sounds, but it still does a good job.
-Speaker is decent and quite loud.
-Design, build quality and feel are as good as it gets.
-Also the phone is quite big, but it fits in my average sized hands very well and I can use it with one hand very easily.

i really want to purchase an Xperia after my horrible experiece with Samsung.. I might buy this one in the near future and the reviews does not seem too bad but is the customer service and warranty are satisfying? I have problems with how Samsung deals with the customer's complaints. I do hope Sony is better because I only buy their walkman and is still in use after 4 years.

Or maybe the battery is bad? Take it to Sony and have them check it out.

Software, well that is a different argument, it make the phone not better but only little more features.
So, the Z1 is all round better the only little minus is the software, but it can just upgraded in near future.

Second, the camera is also much better than the old build Sensor from Sony.
Third, it's water and dust proof.
Four, the Z1 is a little bit faster with 4.2.2 against Note 3 4.3

But then phone isnt only software. There is hardware also, and there is where Z1 trumps the Note 3. From build quality, design... its not even close. So yea, maybe it's bit more beneficial to go with Note 3 if theyre in the same price, but the difference isnt that big.

p.ram, 08 Nov 2013guys pls tell, galaxy note3 or z1, which s best one? Both devices are great. It's really hard to choose between the two but I prefer Sony Xperia Z1 as Sony has caught my heart and interest since I bought my first Xperia last 2011. They both have great screens where Note 3 has an upper hand due to its larger screen which is very much ideal in playing games, movie watching and ebook reading. In terms of durability or ruggedness Z1 has the upperhand being water proof and dust resistant. 4K video recording in Note 3 is a plus but Z1's video is great as well. Note 3 has the S-Pen but not much of a biggie. Z1 has 20.7mp camera which is very very good. Note 3 has 13mp which I think is good as well though haven't tried a live phone yet. It's all up to your needs. Again both are great. Whichever yoy choose I know yoyu won't be disappointed. :)
