F... moreBut sometimes I turned it on to play around with it but just at home. Lol. I know that it can handle it, but on the back stays fingerprints all over it. So, I still have the screen protector behind it but I don't remove it yet to save the look for now while I don't have the case.
I need to remind that the camera is 20,7 MP, but I didn't have looj yet because the screen is on the way so it's blur.
The display is close enough or the same with the Bravia TVs, on the pictures and videos you van see the advantage.

I was on the same doubt as yours... But I chose the Z1!
First, because the price is a little bit lower at least here in Brazil. The Z1 is well made the body of it, instead the Note 3 seems to be a weak body... Such as a plastic. I need to remind also that this tough device is water proof for 1.5 meter for 30 min undee water, but I stilldidn 't tried. Check YouTube for that I did is awesome! Crazy guy tested it in beer too! Lol.
The touch screen combine to the image that shows off is incredible smoothly! Loved!
I tought also, how come I already have the Note II, I would like to try something different such as this Sony.
Another thing, I also have a stunning and smart TV from Sony Bravia 47", I forgot the model. Whatever. But yes you can connect it to control by the Sony app over wifi, plus use the cell phone and ssimultaneously show his image on your TV without cables because the compability made by Sony.
Abotger feauture that you can connect and Dualshock 3 controller on it without cable (just for the first time to paired) and don't need to have the cell phone rooted! As I do have PS3 let's go for it.
For now I still using it mine Note II because my Z1 doesn't have a case for now.

my z1 get over heat even i just use the browser and facebook. it is a great phone but too hot lolz. maybe that is the problem wit android as my Ios device barely get hot even serveral hours of usage.

The phone has great battery life, & amazingly good build quality as I'd expect from Sony. The screen quality is not as good as the htc one or the sound quality & camera are not as good as the htc one. Overall I am happy still that I changed the htc one to the z1 as the battery was terrible on the one. As much as I love this phone though I must say it still lacks on the screen quality, sound quality & camera. So I will change again in the near future if Htc shape up & release a htc butterfly s spec phone in the UK.

One thing I find interesting is if you look at the user rating (not by interest, but rating) of phones here on GSM arena; Sony is well represented (Z1 at the top) as is Nokia. Even LG and HTC have phones in the top 10.
Question is, where are the Samsung and Apple phones?
Does anyone else find it strange that the phone manufacturers with 2 of the best selling phones are not in the top 15?

So you really think someone's going to notice 2g weight difference? LOL
Obviously you're a Note or Samsung fanboy, because you mention nothing about the advantages of the Z1 (dustproof, water resistant), 20mp Camera, Stereo FM Radio
So yes, the prospective buyer should think and line up the specs of each phone (available here on GSMarena) and not pay attention to the one sided comments of a fanboy.
