What matters to me is not the total usage time.. I want to know the total SCREEN ON TIME since that signifies the total number of hours that you actually use the phone

Sorry but that rant wasn't meant for you I only realised after the the post I was on another thread talking about the same issue and yes i know when sony phones hit 15% they are in the red I have 4 Sony devices but sorry my friend that rant wasn't for you.

Martin, 26 Sep 2013Beware, I got the phone yesterday and they say it is scratc... moreactually the Z1 and all xperia phones have a shatterproof sheet on the screen aka screen protector, and that is why it scratches easily. you can always remove the shatterproof sheet, but doing so will also take the Sony logo on the front of it with it, since its printed on the screen protector.
i plan on removing mine when i buy it and purchases an Oleophobic spray. also sony rumors are that sony uses a dragontail for the front and a gorilla glass for the back.

Go and read, it clearly says it hit the red and could be used for many hours still, he wrote it, could stil be used many hours! The red is when it goes below 15%.

If a tougher material rubs it, it will get scratched.Now, a key is made from a tougher material so it will scratch any phone glass at the moment, unless is made of real diamond.If you buy a phone, you will buy a screen protector and a case.
Now stop your whining and enjoy the phone.Next time browse google before filling in forums with silly complaints.

Now i have the Xperia Z1, Its truly outstanding the 2.2ghx with 2gb ram make a massive difference, The stamina mode helps, i stopped using it and put the stamina mode on at 11pm with 83% and woke up at 7:30 with 82% its amazing. I've not had any heat issues at all. The camera is top quality can really tell it have 20megapixels, Go out and get it.

JenoNagy its a sony bt no longer made in japan bt china which is xtremely disappointing. if it is made in japn then i m sold for it.
