Rumor says that Sony found issues with the touch technology of Z Ultra that allows pencils and various items to be used as stylus, and thats why it is not present on Z1. It works as announced but due to its high sensitivity it messes up touch when the display get dirty, the fat/dirt can register as touch input, causing unpredictable behavior. I think we should be happy that Z1 does not have this functionality.
It isnt a critical flaw though, cleaning the display more often is all thats needed.

"I've stuck with Auto mode because the way it works is that it automatically selects what it thinks is the most appropriate scene mode to use. Another justification for Auto mode especially in this comparison is that it puts both devices on a more equal playing field where they are dependent on the strengths of their imaging algorithms.
Also, I'm reviewing the Xperia Z1's camera in the same way an average user would be likely to use it. A good cameraphone should be able to produce the best results it can without demanding that the user tweak the settings for each shot."

About G2 vs Z1, strange how low daily interest there is for G2. Despite good reviews it isnt able to keep people interested, safe to say its not gonna sell anywere as well as Z1, but Z1 will not sell anywere nearly as well as Note 3 and iPhone 5S again.
Saw the same situation with HTC One, lots of people assumed it had sold so well but then look at HTCs financial results, it was an illusion, the fact is that Xperia Z always was more famous and popular than HTC One, but geeks and reviewers assumed no one was interested in a flagship that didnt have Snapdragon 600, they always talked about S4 vs One without even mentioning the Z. People are not stupid, Xperia Z has more performance than anyone need, its a great phone, no wonder it outsold the One.

I suspect its the same guy who is posting in various threads that LG is so genius, and they use plastic because glass (Z1) and metal (Z1 and HTC One) will fry your brain when making a call, but plastic is safe and "everyone know that". Quite crazy.

I'm from the Philippines and I can't wait to get my hands on the Z1 and I'm pretty sure it will be my next phone.. As for the LG G2.. Dunno where he got that.. Probably just an insecure Sony hater.. His comment doesn't even make sense.. Why post something like that here?!? Get a life dude.. Sony Xperia Z1 is gonna rock the Smartphone industry this time.. :D

One snowflake doesnt make a winter, the Lumia is lacking too much in every other way, especially battery and display. With Z1 we dont have to make any sacrifices, seems like everything is good about it.
