http://www.tbreak... moreI studied the full size nightshot samples again, even if he sabotaged it the Z1 photo is very superior. Zoom in on the signs, you cannot read everything on the 1020 photo because the blown out highlights. Then zoom in on the far away sign, on Z1 there is clearly an arrow pointing 45 degrees on the bottom, go closer with the 1020 and you could maybe imagine its a pixelated spermcell.
Plus, were are all the cars? The 1020 doesnt show even one car. How could the writer judge 1020 as the winner here, even with his horrendous settings to give Z1 a handicap it wins. Very good Z1, my next phone.

AnonD-186916, 15 Sep 2013Still missing the Xenon Flash!!!I may add, Xenon is a bit over rated IMO. I had SE K810i cybershot and Nokia N82, i cant say the K810i had good colors on flash shots. The N82 was better, but clearly you would still have preferred to not have to use the flash. The main advantage of N82 over LED flash phones was that the flash filled photos all the way out to the corners, at this N82 is maybe the best ever, even the N8 could not do that.

AnonD-186916, 15 Sep 2013Still missing the Xenon Flash!!!Flash is for emergency use and darkness anyway, so i think you should remember that this phone has superior low light capability. Have you tried Xperia Z? You dont often need to use flash indoors with Z, it performs very well, bright photos with good color, its not like the older camphones were even normal indoor light was insufficient, the Z is really good indoors and the Z1 is better.
Sure we still need flash when its dark, but those photos aint gonna win you any prices no matter if you have xenon or LED, you would need bouncing flashes and studio setup to do that. Im all for Xenon if it doesnt make the phone fat and if they keep the LED for videolight and flashlight but it aint a big advantage, indoor shots in fair lightning will still look better without xenon.

http://www.tbreak... moreIm not going to criticize 1020 here, but look at that night photo, where he say the Z1 is underexposed (of course it is, he forced iso100). What he doesnt say is how overexposed and clipped the 1020 photo is, the highlights are eating into all parts of the picture far outside the light sources. Thats a horrible photo and he praises it, obviously he is utterly clueless and should not be taken seriously.
Now let the Z1 use iso 800, as it should, and see how superior is will be. In my opinion the Z1 won even when sabotaged by an insane iso setting.

http://www.tbreak... moreWhat a stupid test, the guy is obsessed with ISO 100, why would he use ISO 100 at night when the Z1 is capable of only 1/8 second exposure?
He even says there he used tripod and long exposure on the 1020, like 4 seconds! This has nothing to do with smartphone photography reality, and of course he must set ISO 800 on Z1 but he wasnt interested in getting a good result.
Comparing short vs long exposure at low iso at night, whats the point.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2013so you solve phone hangs with a battery pull?? if you hold ... moreOnly Samsung, thanks God other brands dont use this horrible method that causes shutdown if you hold the phone too hard, on some samsung devices the button is also too soft making the problem worse. Power + Vol.down is the proper way to do this.

A lot of people are still stucked in 20th century, solving problems by plug-off? Remember, holding both Power Button and Volume Up Button for 5 seconds will force reset the device, applies to all Sony devices (and maybe other Android devices)

It has head phones and all that shit a normal phone has, but it just much better the best front camera and the best phone camera in the world!!! Its waterproof! Ip58!!! The higest you can have!!! To awesome to be true i Think evryone who has the Money should buy it its.super cool! I will buy it and med the coolest badass in the hole Town!!! ?
