Stop trolling and telling lies! I have had the pleasure of handling this beast and I can truly say that even holding the phone at zero degrees, the images (I was watching a trailer of Elysium on it) are still extremely clear. Stop your sinful lying ways and stop trolling. It is simple really, don't like it then don't buy it but spare us your paid fanboy trolling lying ways!

And by the way, all smartphone displays use TFT, even the amoled ones, its just your lack of understanding that is the problem here, this phone has a great display.

TFT display, makes your good quality photo look bad on the phone(compared with samsung s4,lg g2).
display quality degrades tremendously over small viewing angle differences translates to having to maintain phone at best viewing angle relative to face for all kinds of usage scenario(imagine handsfree, or holding angle while walking/sitting in the train watching videos).
TFT made me look elsewhere for another smartphone. (excessive top and bottom bezel is major turn off as well, making phone bigger than lg g2 while having a smaller display)
but lg g2 camera is not useful if you value the detail and very purpose of using a higher megapixel camera as excessive noise reduction on lg g2 camera makes photo look good while zoomed out but losing all the detail when you zoom in. (totally defeating the purpose for me)
i have no idea which phone to get now.

Hope they would make their front cam a 5-megapixel just like Lenovo X Vibe before they release this. And it would be the best smartphone of 2013 :)

Sony flagship is cheaper than samsung nowadays..but that cheaper price sony gave you much premium feel..

Jer, 10 Sep 2013why no optical image stabilization?no gorilla glass also on... moreits the same like the Z.. front panel using Dragontail glass, back panel is gorilla glass.. both have equally in strenght and durability..

i was debating purchasing the z1 until after apple had revealed there hand and IMO sony camp have produced a strong all round product the z and the Z1 are worlds apart and genuinely seem to be a real push forward in terms of upgrade i really dont feel apple have done this with there new iphone 5s in fact i would go as far to say apple have lost there way, RIP steve jobs visionary, but now i am pre ordering my Z1
