In some benchmarks, Sony's rear camera always show 8MP am I right? This have happened for a long time already, my XPERIA Z1, XPERIA Z2, XPERIA Z3, XERIA Z3+, XPERIA Z5, XPERIA Z5 PREMIUM all showed 8MP for the rear camera in AnTuTu benchmark especially. But I am guessing they fixed the problem because my ANDROID OREO smartphones are showing 23MP in AnTuTu, this includes XPERIA X, XPERIA X PEFORMANCE, XPERIA XZ, XPERIA XZs, XPERIA XZ1 and XPERIA XZ PREMIUM. Note, I use Manual Mode for all of these, at first when I encountered this, I felt strange and surprised since the flagships have over 20MP, and I am getting 8mp here in AnTuTu. I searched online and some moderator said it is either because I left the camera with Manual Mode or Sony don't allow permission for AnTuTu to detect the rear camera. But looking at my ANDROID OREO smartphones, it seems like it is more likely to be a software bug that have been inside their software

4 years and working just like the day i ve got it,fast and fliud,not a single issue in 4 years,but here is a catch- u must buy Sony the original- msde in Japan! If it is made in China(unfortunatelly most of them are,in my country all Sony phones,for many years are made in China,i ve got Italian z1,original)- then it might be(but not every)- with issues.

Still love Sony, 02 Nov 2017Had battery replaced for 1/6 cost of a latest new phone at ... moreI did also replaced the battery it works like charm. The only thing that im having issue with is its camera. Pictures from its original OS works better than the latest 5.1 android version. Latest OS has a lot of noise on the camera and im planning to downgrade it to its original OS.

Had battery replaced for 1/6 cost of a latest new phone at Sony. They resealed the waterproof and replaced the scratched lens area. Internal software upgraded. All installed apps and memory wiped.
Feels brand new. Using brand new. Works brand new.
Can never ask for a better deal.. not into the latest gadgets. Latest hasn't been latest for the past five years since many TOP tier mobile phone have produced very good handsets. This Sony still has a lot to give after refurbishing it. I simply love it. Sony still rocks at what they do! iPhone is a copy of the Sony concept. What should I say? Still love Sony.

Great phone and there now going cheaper than ever still water proof and for the things that most people do with a phone it is not like great camera and very good battery life

It's been four years now and I'm still using my purple Z1. Battery was replaced once and it can still last a whole day. Apps are pretty laggy on stock ROM but the custom ROM (Resurrection Remix 5.8.4, Android 7.1.2) runs pretty fast and smooth.
