Sony Xperia z1 is 78% a rip off:
Breakes easy
No good screens in the market
Low speaker
For a some reason it wont download apps more than 2gb and i have 11gb free
Space is low
its front camera is horrible
Slow downloading

Ewa, 26 Sep 2015I agree with Rub I had this phone 2 years and I using lolli... moreYeah I just got it two days ago and overheating and battery whatever
Upgraded to the latest 5.1.1 version and all set yesterday went left phone for 10 hours and charged 100% flight mode with WiFi on it took 4% in the first few hours then it stayed like that
Used it few mintues and lost another 4% and alittle heated
Anyway I'll let it to go the lowest as possible and screenshot consumption
And after finding the reason to all this i'll factory reset it
I optimized all options also read that WiFi should be always on
Staminia at 50% extended enabled and 4 apps exceptions (whats app,messenger,Line and a Yt downloading app)
Low battery enabled at 20% with only WiFi enabled.
Hope you tell me your options and do you get overheating on low usage

zach, 23 Sep 2015i update my sony z1 here in japan but apparently it failed.... moreplz do a factory reset once keeping a backup of all the files and folders first,then try for an update this will surely help

to do that whenever u press the side button to switch the mobile,long press the switch off option to send it to safe mode

xperia z1 is the awesome phone which i have been using for quite a long time
the only thing is that my version dosent have 4g

Hi users, i am using Xperia Z1 since 6 months bought from Amazon. It is working fine except an issue which started before few days. Whenever i call someone, the screen goes completely black. I need to first lock & then unlock the phone to make the screen visible. This is really annoying me. Plz help me solve this issue. I am from India & my Android version is Lollipop 5.1.1. Thanks in advance

Guys believe me, lollipop 5.1.1 is superb in Xperia z1, kitkat and jellybeans were also good, but lollipop superb. Many people blame about this phone many times, but believe that I don't face any problem. I used it about 2.5 years, used jellybean, kitkat, finally lollipop. It's a great phone in every os, camera is very powerful and clear, specifically in dark place, it can pick very clear picture. I love Xperia :D

Hey guys I just got c6903 and updated to A4.4.4
Anyway I know that there's some firmwares that causes overheating and battery life reduction
Anyway what android should I upgrade to

Hello users, i am using Z1 since 6 months bought from Amazon. Now i am facing an issue since few days. Whenever i call someone, screen immediately goes black & i always have to first lock the phone & unlock it to make the screen visible. First i thought that proximity sensor would be covered with dirt, so i cleaned it but still the issue persists. Plz give me solution as i am tired of this. I am from India & my Android version is 5.1.1

Where can I buy that both shattered film?
I already asked at sony Centre but they said it is not available..
