i update my sony z1 here in japan but apparently it failed. Screen say Software Update Failed and i can't use it right now. I try to update it on PC Companion but it said no available software for the device. Can any one help me with this problem.

im from phillipines..when can i have my lollipop 5.1.1 update for z1 here in manila??
because the issue about the overheating of sony xperia z1 is true and its battery drains fast.. i cant even play on my games for a minute or two.. and its a little bit laggy sometimes.. please give some good advice.. and i really want to know when can i update to lollipop 5.1.1

i have a Sony Xperia z1 c6903 is pretty awesome phone, i for almost a year, when was on kit kat works fine overheat sometimes, then updte to lollipop 5.0.2 the phone lag terrible overheat a lot was very sad, some days ago update to lollipop 5.1.1 and my celphone is live again, heating is very low even in games , facebook whatssap no more overheating, just update to android 5.1.1 and do a factory reset and voila, trust me is a great phone

if it is original SONY, it will show you the service menu, else not.

I bought my Sony xperia Z1 the other day... but after using the wifi... It started heating up.....even using some apps..like games burns up easily... Looked for the problem online and found a solution but still heats up....Can anyone out there advice me

[deleted post]You can search YouTube for "Downgrade Z1 from Lollipop" for the instruction. The download link also stated there. The downgrade process take about 10 minutes. But the backup will take longer time.
