Sony xperia z1 is a good smartphone but not a great buy for 2015, Anybody who wants to buy a new phone and planning to go for xperia z1 according to me it is not a great buy... Xperia z1 is still a good phone and when this phone was launched it was one of the best phone of that year...but we should realize that it is 2015 and z1 is almost 2 yrs old... Soo now this phone is not more than a decent performer... According to me those who are planning to buy new phones should try other brand because at this price you can get a good performer phone than z1 dont get me wrong xperia z1 is still a good smartphone but not a great buy... I m using xperia z1 for almost 1 and 1/2 yrs and now i would not recommend anybody to buy this phone especially when they can spent that much price...if you are a sony buff customer than according to me you can go for xperia m4 aqua or other sony great and latest mid rangers ..... This is my opinion...thanks

anik, 06 Aug 2015which phone I should go for ? xperia z1 or m4 aqua ?M4 aqua is quite an impressive mid-range phone from Sony. Light weight at only 136g for a 5 inches phone & sleek at 7.3mm only. This phone performs very well and should be enough to fulfill your daily requirements. Z1 is also not bad(it was once Sony's flagship) but it will be celebrating it's 2nd birthday next month. Time does matter a lot when it comes to android phones unlike iOS. An android powered phone becomes outdated with every arrival of a successor. Z1 is also a 5 Inches phone like M4 Aqua, but weights 170g(34g heavier than M4 aqua) and thickness remains at 8.5mm. So, I must say that it may be safer to go for M4 aqua. But then you'll get a plastic phone. If that is not a problem for you, then you must go for it. With Z1, you'll have a premium phone with an aluminium frame & back made of glass. But either M4 aqua or Z1 will not disappoint you. All the best.
