I've recently updated my Z1 to the latest updates, hoping that it would get some more perks, bug fixes and all that.
Everything is fine, EXCEPT for my camera that doesn't seem to start anymore.

I was very apprehensive about updating my device to lollipop from kitkat reading all the cry about battery,camera etc etc. Honestly downloaded the update on my laptop but didnt update for good 2 days assuming so many ppl could not be wrong but the excitement of lollipop got good of me and trust me I am not disappointed..To sum up a big story dont keep your expectation too high and you will do just fine..On the contrary I have improvement in my battery performance dont know whether I am the only exception out here, on the other hand the phone has become laggy in some areas or may be i should give some time to settle the rom..PS I am just a 3 day old lollipop update guy..no tech guy indeed :)

Ohh please battery dying very fast..
And even not charging fast taking 5 hrs.
Plz help any app there to charge fast its horrible

hello ... one question for all users ... I have a Z1 c6903 14.4.A.0.157, and still not have lolipop update ... how to check for that market my device for which state is it???

Vince, 20 Apr 2015Done update here in the philippines, download may take up t... morethe thing is you don't even need to backup when updating the software as it won't delete anything. (repair software will do). i updated mine and all game files are still there.

Battery draining very fast.Camera lags too much
My charging takes allmost 4hrs.
fix these all in Lollipop 5.1 update

To increase the headphones volume just download the app 'earpiece' and select 'audio through earpiece'. It works without rooting..

Update is not available for all z1 devices. Depends on the region. Have to wait.

Done update here in the philippines, download may take up to 2 hrs depending on your internet connection, some may experience mtp driver connection problem, but that's not sony's fault.. hands on experience is quite good, no lags, very beautiful ui and no problem on installed apps, battery drainage will be fast if stamina mode is not turned on..
the best part? " Move application to sd card" and that's a good thing :)
Downside: Should back up or else all the games/files/etc installed in the internal memory will be gone even if you backed up via pc companion or back up and restore application, later upon restoration error will prompt and said that it is not compatible. better yet find other ways.

I like my Z1 forever and ever....lollipop update for Z1 give my phone more smooth,beautiful camera and wifi become more faster...

I have updated My Z1 to Android-5 three days ago and things being smooth with no system or battery problems in fact the icons are bigger and the screen is clearer which partially solved the vivid colors problem, but is much more better after the upgrade to do a factory resets and do apps updates to get the full benefits .
even though this phone is great but i still like the AMOLED screens in samsung mobiles
