After 14.3.A.0.757 update, a huge improvement in camera department observed in all conditions. Nights shots being found with very less noise while daylight shots well, simply excellent, crisp but nor overexposed battery performance has been kept on top, lag free operations and fluidity has no issues at all.

Ihave this phone from one month.people say it is an alternative of iPhone but my y experience says it cannot reach even the dust of iPhone because of unstable unreliable android software running in this phone. IOS is too much mature software than kitkat.
This phone also has a lot of hardware problems as well.
I am sharing my experience your can be different.

How much memory in the application manager for apps please?

bronze, 10 Apr 2014Where did you buy that unit? Im from the PH too and im inte... morego for z1 compact and avoid the xperia z because it has horrible battery life,and the camera produces very noisy images.
go for the black one because it suffers less flash bleed issue.

Im from the PH too and im inte... moreMy Cousin got it for me from Dubai, I just posted the value in peso, If you plan to get one just make sure to get the revised one because I am a victim of Bleeding Flash, Still I love my xz1c, I'm gonna apply the fix posted at xda forums.

Before i try this phone...i think my Iphone 5s is far better. after i try demo phone and compare it :
1. phone display : Z1 compact is better than 5S is 50% brightness.
2. camera photo result is better that 5s
beyond my expectation. i think is better to wait Z2 compact to replace 5S, because i dont like big phone.
but i decided to buy this Z1 Compact. now i'm on pre order list in Indonesia. cannot wait..

am from Ghana,i bought my Z1compact two weeks ago,good battery,strong phone,very fast,the battery is good for playing games,i like games that is why i bought Z1compact,tnx to sony

The Z has an amazingly sharp display but loses to Z1C on contrast and color reproduction, also on viewing angles for those who care about that.
Go for Z only if you like big displays. About the battery, it is very good in standby, even with active data connections but it drains down a bit too fast when display is on, also at low brightness settings.

The camera is really broken. That is because they used an other material as on the z1f (to save money of course...) - there is no update that can help to improve the camera. They have to replace the hardware, but they won't.
Also a lot of trouble with the latest kitkat update. Phone is freezing, sms und whatsapp are always crashing.
The Sony Support is terrible, just telling me (and as I read in other messages also other people) that there is nothing wrong with the phone and everything is alright. This is so unprofessional.

I bought Z1 compact a month back, but still not happy as I was using an old Galaxy R. comparing to that, Sony is not worthy to the money I am paid.

1. Go into settings
2. Select power management
3. You will be shown a list of options. The first option is stamina mode. If you turn on stamina mode it will make a huge difference to your battery life. Read through the other options as they may also help you save battery life.
