But starting with Xperia Z Sony has completely removed lag, in fact the old Z lags less than the brand new Galaxy S5 at 2,5GHz according to reviewers who had hands on time with S5 at MWC. Samsung may have flattened TouchWiz to LOOK like iPhone but they havent made touchwiz lighter, its still a pile of bloatware done by bad programmers.
Anyway, Z1C is among the top 5 fastest phones on the market and has the most efficient UI, no worries.

Am currently using xperia s as my primary phone and iPhone 5S as my secondary phone and am considering upgrading xperia s with xperia Z1 compact. Does Z1C lag because my xperia s lags like hell

answer, 24 Mar 2014What exactly are the diffences aside from the size compared... moreIts much better than Z1, especially the battery. The only disadvantage is the low pixel density display at 342 vs 441 PPI. Please note that PPI is a 1-dimensional value and therefore doesnt really indicate how big the real world difference is. Pixels are 2-dimensional so to compare we have to compare the Square of the PPIs (342*342 vs 441*441), that gives Z1 a stunning 66% higher pixel density.
Apart from that Z1 Compact does not have any disadvantages over Z1, and it more than makes up for it with superior battery life, better viewing angles (and better display all in all). The excess size and extremely low battery performance of Z1 makes it a very poor phone, if Z1 Compact is too small for your taste then wait for Z2.

Lutho , 24 Mar 2014I don't have the phone yet but usually you have to open the... moreSonys sim tray solution is different and not at all that sensitive. The only problem is that since Sonys tray is not attached to the phone its easy to misplace or lose, but being like that its also cheap to buy a new one, and the sim can be inserted without the tray in emergencies.

Howe... moreI don't have the phone yet but usually you have to open the slot then press with you thumb or fingernail or take a pin then push on the tray holding the sim card and it will pop out slightly then you can pull the tray out completely, remember to be careful coz I broke the little part of the tray you hold and pull on my mom's iphone.
