        I'll explain !
He has a pc with internet connection. Then he wants to use internet using the his pc connection. WiFi stick is more expensive than a router, and router have higher connection capacity than a WiFi stick.

Great phone!!! works like a charm... amazing performance.. using it since almost a week.. battery lasts for 2 days easily(on 2G and wifi)... Best phone for its size, nothing beats it... maybe a little pricey, but WORTH IT!!!!

Outdated before it gets out of the starting blocks. The waterproof s5 and more practical & durable 5s with fingerprint security allowing instant access to the phone are tough competition for this z1 compact phone to beat especially with the high price tag and absence of availability from local shops honoring Sony's warranty. And no way you want to buy this compact without a warranty.

Theres no denying it, i actually want the Z2. Its too big but the pixel density of Z1 Compact is tipping the scale in the wrong direction.

Dont know what to do anymore, maybe i just get a BlackBerry Z10 (very cheap now) and wait for the Z2 Compact which will hopefully have a Full HD Triluminous IPS display.

Very hard decision. Anyone else changing their mind after being impressed by the Z2??

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2014Read it again and again and again. Btw, Pc normally doesn't... moreEither he will buy a USB wifi stick (very cheap) if his PC doesnt have wifi (wonder who would buy a PC without wifi but ok...)
OR he will connect the usb cable, go to the phones settings and enable USB tethering. Works great, drivers are automatically installed.

But a router? Wifi routers cannot connect to a wifi hotspot, a router IS the "hotspot". In that case you would need an ad-hoc setup (which some but not all routers support) and thats VERY messy i would say, plus it cost a lot more than a USB wifi adapter (which is not messy).

Anyway, who cares when the USB cable tethering works perfectly, anyone would chose that if they dont have wifi adapter in the PC.

If its so important to you why dont you tell us why he need a router? What will he use it for?

The battery lasts 2 days easy with moderate use, if it had 3000 or 3500 mah it would be very much thicker and in a larger body, for the size of the phone 2300 mah is more than enough

I've been waiting for such powerful device for 4 years at the same size.

BUT the problem here is Android is a battery whore and the battery in it is small.

                                  should be 3000 mAh - 3500 mAh
