However i came to think of it more and maybe this guy doesnt have wifi on his desktop computer, i think that is rare nowadays but it happens i guess. In that case he will use a USB cable to share internet connection from the phone to the PC.

I don't appreciate with call.earing speaker is very bad.xperia Please is even better. Battery, display, performance is much better in this Z1 compact

Please tell me about quickly drainage battery life and over heating problem of Z1c if it have? Bcoz I'm going to buy this phone. And also help me to know any other disadvantage if it have. Tnks for your. Co-operation.

once upon a time I used samsung wave 2 its super clear lcd display sony calls it PLS technology I kw how I feel dumped when I buy d wave 2. its totally f**k battery drain if u browse an hour wifi or 3g..its s**ks..im clear that its not slcd or pls display its an ips. like lg g2 flagship phone..ips + lcd in iphones .. who is soo confused in battery life check gsmarena battery test 20hours 3g taktime iphone has only half 10hours..in web browsing its 10 hours +.and video playback too..iphone 5s just has 1560mha battery bits its chipset and os combination works together to achieve gud battery life. buz ios runs only on iphone hardware so its well obtamised processor+os+display+hardware well combined .but android runs in any kind of hardware so it's need power its runs some 400 +mb of data always on background. snapdragon 800 is a 32 bit 4core processor apple A7 is 64 bit 2core .in paper s800 fastest in its kind but android need 64 bit processor it wil open apps any apps in a eye blinking speed..thats what people always wanted! !!!!

I really dont think Sony would go for such an ancient tech. I have used Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Grand and som Galaxy Tablets, the battery drain from the display is disastrous, in addition to being inferior to sonys old displays on low brightness, forcing you to increase the brightness of the PLS, making it drain the battery even faster.
its safe to rule out this possibility. And i dont think Z1C has a VA display, its also somewhat inefficient in letting backlight pass through and would drain the battery faster, plus MVA/PVA are too slow in response time, motion blur will be a serious problem in fast games, even slower games like TR2 would struggle.

And anyway the Z1 cost more than 30k in sony xperia concept stores, thats the price you should compare to then. Z1 Compact will be only 27-28k in regular stores WITH Sony warranty and updates.
Never buy in Xperia Concept stores, of course.

There is no alternative to Z1 Compact, its the only phone in its class and therefor worth buying. I would not hesitate if i had xperia L and had the money to get the Z1 Compact instead, go go.

Just be patient, we all know Sony is good in releasing devices in compact sizes. Just like what they did to their gaming consoles.. :)

AnonD-171830, 28 Feb 2014overpriced!Indeed this phone is purely overpriced, its even more expensive that the Z1 "P24k". Here in the Philippines this device cost "P26k" from online retailers [kimstore] and if this will be available in Sony shops I guess it will be "P32k" or "P30k".
For that price I'd rather wait for the Z2 or the Z2 compact in the future...

I said the Z2 could (keyword is could) be using PLS, not the Z1C. It uses MVA-TFT (most likely) or PVA-TFT.

You are actually a little funny, do you think we bring a router when using laptops from the car or other places away from home or office? Of course we use only the phone to provide internet for the laptop. No idea what you used, nothing at all maybe?
