The back cover is made of plastic. There are allready videos on YouTube where u can see them removing it. In terms of reparatures.... it's not good to have a glass back, imagine how could u remove it without braking?
That's why i do not understand the whining about the back cover. You would have to buy a new cover after every reparature (hoping it won't ever happen).

only compromised in screen resolution other wise it is almost same as z1

today i buy xperia compact lte version.superb phone with superb battery backup.camera quality no word for prove quality.superb snaps in low light and from camera also superb for video call

please be aware. unlike other xperia phones the z1 compact has video rec options at fullhd, hd and mms format....only and does not have vga format as an option ,,,,,,,,
what this means in terms of wattsapp...... to send a video via wattsapp the file size needs to be below 15mb......if you record a video in fullhd or hd even a 10second video will consume more that 15 mb.......mms format is very poor for viewing ...vga format was the only good option as one cld record a 1 minute video for less than 15 mb and send the same via wattsapp and still have reasonable good viewing ....this format is not availabe on z1 compact so you have to take the pain to change the format via some play store app and then send

AnonD-222995, 22 Feb 201436900 is seriously overpriced.Its much less than in any other country where its currently available, in Northern Europe around 45,000 INR. Really, any other place people would sleep in line in front of the stores if they could get it as cheap as you do.

In Sweden and Germany where phones cost considerably more those 2nd grade units sell for less in online stores, and in India the grade 1 supported units with Sony warranty sell for less.

But my point is, there are a lot of people who doesn't have the budget to buy the phone once its released. My point is, better wait than to regret.
I'm just a guy who is it techie and budget wise. I can afford the high end phones but for me, its always a good option to wait if you're not sure about the phone or wait when a good one will be available which suits your needs..

very good but not works in equalizer audio set, if and put other eq to choose from the valve sound not works. when you to youtube and want possible to vary not become the sound.
