Have you guys checked the quality for primary camera compared with the Z1.on the "check quality" option!
I mean what is that??!!..wasn't suppose to be the same camera with the same lenses?

The slightest pressure on the side frame caused the entire screen to scramble. Two or trree months for these glass glued frame phones No fixing them either.

I actually buy phone online (grey market) if that what it's called and I'm getting same updates on my phones as the ones you buy from Sony store. I believe the only difference between buying online versus buying it to Sony store is its warranty. Online stores offer service warranty (not manufacturer or official sony warranty). Well... Hope this phones comes to the PH asap. :)

what a bad camera!! .. after having for a one day i got back into nexus 5 .. a device of huge performance with a less than 5 MP camera quality .. really shocked

Unfortunelly they anounce the phone wrong, the fact the back is not on glass dont afect my day by day routine or quality impression, but afects the trust on the company it self...

(as a mini/compact version,sony xperia z1 compact,is really the best! so anyone who wants to buy a mini version? sony xperia z1 compact is the only one to buy!!!) and my friends,i'm not saying this because of profit etc (far from it!) and in fact i am a galaxy s line (standard) buyer! (only when in time of realise, it is the best!) but as the mini/compact versions,sony xperia z1 compact, is really the best!!!!!!

The primary target for this phone is in mature markets, and there is no demand for dual sim in high end devices in for example western europe, in fact there dual sim is a reason to NOT buy a phone.
HOwever i think there i s a fairly big chance to see a higher end large display dual sim Xperia this year. Maybe not a true flagship but at least somewhat higher model than Xperia C.

AnonD-232966, 12 Feb 2014@Anonymous It is not 11mm thick, read the specs.My screensavers for glass on both sides makes this phone fatter by 1mm and nice case is 2mm each side to protect fragile all glass phone very thick. Phones with one screensaver one cover on screen side only replacing original back polycarbonate much thinner overall

Just bought it (Ukraine) and back cover appears to be cheap scratchy plastic, not glass. Already have some deep scratched on it. It is very easy to scratch, be careful.

This phone has no bezel,the phone is beautifully more than any samsung mobile.

At first they had that same wrong info about end of Q2, it was obvious they meant end of Q1 (thats when i started to worry) and now, unfortunately, they have corrected it to just that.
Those online stores sell mostly grey market units anyway so they are not dependent on official launch dates. However i want official updates so i am not buying from any of those stores or in TriNoma. By the way, there were rumors about grey market Z1 Compact units available in Greenhills last week. Havent heard more about it since, may not be true.

I was hoping to be a dual sim, but unfortunately its a single sim only. anyways sony will upgrade it after some time when this one will start loosing its market. so i will wait till sony launch a dual sim with same specs...
