A nordic carrier selling Z1 Compact since before launch has it among its bestsellers, TWICE! Both the black and the Lime made it to their top list. Really well done, but must remember that the Nordic market is mature and has always been shifted towards high end and been a scene for early adoption of new trends, in less matured markets the majority of buyers are still looking for large screen phones, whats new in many markets is already old and boring in northern europe.

But you have to understand that these return and home buttons retract when taking or viewing a 16:9 picture hence giving you the full 4.3 inches.

Z1 Compact is selling well in Europe but availability doesnt seem to be a big problem (except for some colors) so theres no reason to think that Sony has to delay launch in some markets due to supply problems.

Regarding camera - I know it's crazy , but on my elbow I have dark shot problem and on the black everitnig is perfect

My homebrewed theory af... moreYou are right bro, the shatterproof sheet will bleed the led flash light, through this sps film light will pass to the sides of the camera lens. I've had tested this also with one of my friend's sony xperia z1 the bigger sibling of sxz1 compact and obsereved the camera performance at low light conditions and at no/zero light conditions with the flash on/auto and that was it, because the two phones shared the same sps treatment by the manufacturer. Better if sony can replace the back cover sps film with a led flash light cut out and a free of charge including installation/fixing to the phone. I simulated it also with other couple of phones, covered the led fash light with a screen protector through the camera lens with a cut out on the lens tested at low light and no/zero light conditions now same thing happened with the two xperias. And sony may also redesign the glass back cover to make a cut out for the led flash light on the glass itself and put a silver ring or in any material encircling the led flash light to prevent from flash bleeding. The same design on the silver ring of the camera lens of the phone itself. Thanks, cheers.

Also been waiting for it to be released in the Philippines. I was advised by online stores that it will be available anytime this Feb. But, according to Sony PH website it will be available 2nd quarter of this year. And, accdg. to the Xperia store near me it will be available last week of Feb or first week of March so yeah... I'm getting different answers from different stores...

How does it work on other wifi networks? If it does the same its no problem to have your phone exchanged but dont wait, return it now or they may insist on trying to repair it instead.
Some foreign language website used lab equipment to test the wifi signal of Z1 and Z1C, both were good and the compact came out slightly ahead.

If it is due to the sps then it is definitely yet another reason to lose the damn thing for good from future xperias.
For those interested in checking this theory, you probably don't have too much to worry about without the sheet, as the back is supposed to be gorilla glass or dragontrail glass.
