Its just impossible to judge the color from my phone or laptop, i know these kinda tones can only be seen in real life. So if its as you say i am happy, i will go for light lime then i guess, looking forward to see it in real. Thank you.

But... Yellow? The color really look like yellow? Can you describe the color more accurately? I havent had a chance to see it in real but since the color is called light lime i assumed it had a green touch to it, but seems people think only yellow when they see it and thats not quite my color, i guess i have to get the black then.

I got critic about my English but not about my opinion ????
I have friend in PDA shop Antwerpen and we compared my compact with different models .
I just don't understand people that complain about battery live . This morning was 100% and now (is 17.30 in Antwerpen ) is 55% and it's with really heavy use .
1). Camera 9/10 - Nokia , LG 2 g and 5s is better
2) screen 7/10 resolution is not perfect and very difficult to see pages on net
3) loudspeaker 5/10 a lot of interference
4) reception and surf is just the best
This phone is perfect for photo, SMS , and small emails
It's mean for young generation , that's like show ( I have yellow one ) games and other bla ,bla.
It's definitely not a business edition ( my personal opinion )
About price it's 525 € on amazon de

My phone shop in Cambodia no agree to import z1 compact for me. Many Z.. and z1 display crack and not stable after few months. Other phone easy to repair, pop cover and remove screws 2 replace but z1 Sony only diagnstic witj cable. Prying glass screen to repair too expensive and they afraid to do. Best for Japan only who will repair fully for respect to their own people and expertise of Sony in Japan

I agree wholeheartedly and carry a 5200 mA power bank with me wherever I go. In just 30 - 35 minutes any phone I carry is boosted from 25% to 80% and I can enjoy life. I didn't know the difference between the characteristics of Lithium and Li- Po cells.

Important info about batteries, both li-po and li-ion as the two are very similar. You know that some people think we still use nickel cadmium and nickel metal hydride batteries and therefor recommends that we must always fully charge and fully discharge our batteries.
But the truth is... NEVER fully discharge a lithium battery, and NEVER fully charge it as well. The reason is a mechanical wear that is worst when its near full or near empty. A battery electrode that is almost empty will contract a bit, and expand a bit when full causing cracks in the structure.
The ultimate is if you can keep your battery between 40 and 60% charged, then a battery can take thousands of charge cycles without noticeable degradation, as opposed to 20% loss after only 300 charge/discharge cycles if you always charge full and almost fully empty it. Not very practical to stay between 40 and 60, sure, but lets say keep it between 80 and 25-30, that should be possible with Z1 Compact due to its impressive battery life.
I know, it sounds troublesome for heavy users to keep charging so often to keep a battery at these levels but the comfort is to know that this way your battery can take 6000 charging cycles and still be good.
Also for storage a lithium battery should be half full to avoid the wear and tear of time. This goes straight in the face of those who insist on removable battery and carrying a fully charged spare, not only will the fully charged spare degrade fast, but if you must totally empty the phone before swapping battery then you are degrading the two batteries 10 to 12 times faster than a single battery kept between 40 and 60%. (battery total lifespan increases 20 to 25 times if kept at 40-60). This really speaks out loud for using powerbanks instead of spare batteries.
So, buy a phone with good battery life, better than you need, a phone that dont need to be fully charged, and then i mean Z1 Compact of course. Bring a powerbank to charge it during the day if you think you will drain it below 30-40%, and remember its ok to make fun of old fashioned people who think spare battery is still the way to go.

This is what i admire about Sony.. making a medium sized phone for normal people, with high end specs!
The price will be slightly lower than the Z1, but you'll get the same performance or maybe better!
Due to its 2300 mAh battery and its smaller screen, you'll get more battery life than the Z1, plus it has a 4.3 and 342 ppi? If it was 5 inches it would not be as sharp as the z1, but smaller screen will make it look like it has the same resolution of the Z1...
So guys what would you prefer? A bigger phone with the same specs but weaker battery? Or a normal phone with high end specs and a higher battery capacity?
Z1 compact will be my next phone for sure! ;)

Just wait for some of the scratch test reviews ...
This alone is going to be a big disappointment for otherwise a superb phone.

Wow! USD750.00 unlocked off contract for the Z1 compact with Sony 1 year warranty. That $150.00 more than HTC One selling now in shops with 32GB. USD 750.00 is the same that the DOCOMO is selling for on e-bay.
