I'd like to know what kind of technology have been used to make z1 compact's LCD?
Some says that is 'TFT' and some says that is ' IPS' .
I would be great full if any one helps me.

mobile user , 02 Jun 2015have anybody upgraded ur z1 comp to lollipop version my z1 compact is runing under lollipop and everything is fine.

AnonD-3570, 02 Jun 2015i guess it's early to say .. but probably won't get android... moreAndroid M won't be 6.0. Looking at the developer preview, its not a significant difference from Lollipop. So its system version will be 5.2. Also, since Xperia Z an old device got Lollipop, surely Z1 series must get Android M.

ben, 24 May 2015this mobile supports android 6.0(android M)???i guess it's early to say .. but probably won't get android M officially anyway .. don't think Sony would be upgrading this device anymore ..
but let's wait and see ..

device cannot play videos from SDXC card of 64gb, only shows the usage and folders but when trying to play cannot play, anyone with idea?

The touch sensor is very sensitive and works fine through the glass. Z1c with a plastic case and glass protector is still reasonably light and pretty rugged.

If so try changing to no push, hourly update and see what happens. I'm now running Android 5 on 2 Z1 compacts and a Z ultra with no problems. But Exchange services is a cpu hog. Fortunately I don't need it.

I had the same problem as you.
But I made a Hard reset to fabriks settings.
And after that I had no problem.
It run's fast and no lags.

Had one since December and have been for the most part very happy ,but after update to lollypop UNLESS. Apps closing all over the place. And battery takes ages to charge and looses it very quickly. Starting to loose the plot. If you can help, please do. Cheers 🍻

I am sorry if i offended you, but i didn't ask about the current generation moto g but the 3rd gen which is yet to be released, which has pretty decent specs according to rumors and should put it up as a proper midrange phone and i wanted to know if the z1 compact will be as future proof as it as i plan on using the phone for atleast 3 years.
