Anonymous, 25 May 2015Longer support by 7 months? Pff. Gimme a break. I have Z1C ... moreNo way is the Z1C stronger than Z3C. Z3C has a aluminium frame just like the Z1C, but has nylon on the edges of the frame, which is a welcome improvement. The corners of Z1C is quite easy to get dented- my Z1C all 4 corners are dented a little. And, both use the SAME DRAGONTRAIL GLASS. But, Sony dropped the usage of the Anti-Shatter Film after the Z1C, after many complaints.

I have Z1C my friend had Z3C and the only differences is that Z3C screen is lager by 0,3 inch processor better by 0,3ghz. And battery by 300 mah. But if we match those results, Z1C will last longer (talking about battery life) It's frame is made of metal, unlike Z3C. It's design is much more beautiful to me. (for example led indicator in the microphone spot) You won't brake it so easy unlike Z3C. My friends Z3C did fall i dunno. From about 20cm height and the back anf the screen was busted, meanwhile my phone (Z1C) didint had even a scratch.

jve, 20 May 2015is it worth updating to lollipop? Yes, I would recommend updating to lollipop. Keep in mind that Sony's lollipop UI is close to pure android, unlike Sony's KitKat UI. Although, i feel that the Sony KitKat UI matched better for xperia z phones. Pure android looks strange with the exotic look of xperia z1 compact. But, it'll probably take time to adjust. Its fast and has almost no bugs at all.

AnonD-3570, 22 May 2015Review of Z1 Compact: - Performance: Perfect for all day u... moreXperia Z1C was the fastest phone when it was released. Its performance is excellent, because SD800 + 720p screen= Gaming monster. It scores more than lg g3 in antutu, so I would tell its performance is excellent, not just above average. That SD800 is a powerful chip set.

                    Review of Z1 Compact:
                    - Performance: Perfect for all day use, and above average to heavy gaming (although small screen isn't comfortable in that).
                    - Design: Perfect. It has everything anyone would ask for, if you like smaller devices, like me. Only drawback is that back and front scratch quite easily. Solution: a screen protector, and a case solves the issue.

Issues: almost none, it's a bit bulky and heavy for it's size and competitors (especially compared to iPhone 5S), but I don't mind it that much ..

it's been with me for almost 6 months now and still loving it ..

Anonymous, 22 May 2015helllllllllllllllllllllllo thank everyone that answer do ... morethat depends on your preference .. if you like smaller phones, then I would say definitely Yes.. especially I dont see OEMs are going to be producing such small AND powerful devices in the upcoming years ..

However, note that 5.1 will be the LAST official update from Sony .. and possibly, Android M will be the last custom this device gets .. so, if the latest software isn't an issue for you .. then what are you waiting for?

                      :)

Lollipop upgrade installed today. Upgrading was smooth as silk. Small changes in first look, but some nice improvements from Google. This is great phone. Only bad thing I can say is that back side gets scratchy quite easily. And that being worst thing tells a lot :)
