Or maybe you have too many camera application. It can take pictures underwater just make sure all flaps are totally closed and secure. Hope this wud help

I have this phone, and I love it. I bought this model, because I think this is one of the best android phones, and this is the smallest among the Flagship models.
To be honest, I find it too big, I barely able to control with one hand (and to use all function, I have to use both of my hands).
And it is not to easy to carry this phone in a jeans' pocket. So this is definitely not a "Compact" phone, but today, in the "5 inch madness" this is the smallest yet powerful phone.
Z1 Compact is super fast, no LAG, and never slows down. I can use it 3-4 days with a single charge (with 1 hour of browsing and 5-10 minutes talking/day, some mail or viber and wi-fi or 3G always turned on), sometimes 5 days, if I browse a bit less on it (I turn off the phone at night, and I do not play any games on my phone). So the battery time is excellent.
Camera is not the best, only a little better, than my previous 5MP camera, in my previous phone. I expected much more from a 20 MP Sony camera, but it is usable.
The phone build quality is gorgeous, the phone have absolut premium feeling, thanks to the metal frames, and the glass like back panel.
Unfortunately not as stable as I expected, sometimes browsers are freezes, and one occasion the phone itself rebooted, one other occasion the Camera freezed.
Typical Android I guess (and not as stable as Nexus models).
All in all, this is an EXTREMELY GOOD phone, one of the best, I have ever seen, but Sony should make a more compact model, because this is definitely NOT a small phone. It is just not ridiculously enormous.
One more thing. I don't think this (or any) flagship phone worth its original price, but now it have a reasonable price, and I definitely can recommend this phone.

Maybe your Wifi modem or router is not good.

I need to buy a new phone ASAP. Which phone would u guys recommend between a Sony Xperia Z1 compact, Sony Experia M2 aqua and a blackberry Z3. Please give me ur honest opinion. Thank u in advance.

i have used z1c for 3 months. the good parts: good battery, never lags/hangs/restart. the bad parts: poor camera, quiet speakers, front and rear panel scratches easily, weak hd screen that struggles with dark scenes. i will give it a 7/10. from my findings, even the z2, z3, z3c all share the same features above. having said that, am done with sony, next buy is definitely htc: samsung has good build with crap software, lg has crap build with crap software, motorolla is extinct.
