Shady, 03 Sep 2014Yes, i faced this prob with both Jeally and kitkat. The pho... moretry using an antivirus and memory management software.. my uncles samsung S2 had this problem for a long time.. installed 360 security from play store for free.. it includes both anti virus and memory manager.. phone started to get smoother after a day or so and runs good as new now.. im also using it on my Z1 Compact.. just avoid using the memory cleaner too much.. makes the phone a bit twitchy.. a cleanup once in 3-4 days works great..

Hey. I am using Z1 Compact from like 4 months now, ( been using a Galaxy S4 before and i wanted something smaller ). I can say it's a great phone, it doesn't lag at all, camera it's great, i've made alot of pics in water, i droped him in the swimming pool, no problems at all. The battery lasts 1 day and 12 hours with 4G activated all the time, and like 4 hours of display on.
Overall it's a great phone, no lag or freeze at all.
The only issue is the "default screen protector" which scratches like hell, so.. who is going to buy this phone, buy instantly a screen protector and u wont have any issues with this phone. Good Luck choosing !

Does anyone have a problem such as lagging, bugging? I have heard that phone sometimes freezes when camera is used and then it is necessary to restart the phone. Does anyone experience that kind of problem with KitKat or Jelly Bean? Thanks!

[deleted post]After a few days in a pocket remove half the protector and see the difference in the two screeb parts, if you still cant see it your eyes are too bad to use a compact smartphone anyway, buy a high contrast large font phone for the elderly with cataract.

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2014hey guys i am looking for a good phone and so far i am cut ... moreIt's a great phone go for it.
I had it for a month and it works just fine...
The only problem I faced was that it gets heated when used for long hours playing heavy games or watching videos but so does the IPhone..
Don't expect too much from 20 mp, it's almost the same as the 8 mp of this phone. But even that 8 mp cam is remarkable, Sony did a great job in it's software
Never tested it in water, someone please let me know if it really works fine in water...

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2014FFS, just get a decent screen protector ye eejit! As fo... moreScreen protectors have the same problem, hard to keep clean and not smooth touch, plus they add a grey haze. I need my next Xperia to have perfect slide on touch and selfcleaning display like my BlackBerry, thats what even many cheap china phones have today.

As fo... moreBorrow your grandfathers reading glasses and see how it looks like for us who can see small things without glasses, promise you will be surprised. A perfect young human eye maxes out at 950 ppi, or 0.35 arcminutes, Z1c has only just below 1 arcminute at normal viewing distance, ie the eyesight of someone between 65 to 70 years old.
Dont need those numbers anyway, only need to look at FHD phones how vastly superior they are. Miss my Xperia Z, was almost perfect, had to look real close to find flaws, Z3c should be noticeable better. Exited.

As for the PPI, you must be insane if you think it isn't good enough. I don't see the need for any higher PPI, and would rather have the lower energy consumption.
