I have the phone for 3 monthes.
All are perfect, but the flashlight is very poor. Power of processor and GPU are ideal, super phone.

Its not good enough, thats why. The display is not very clear due to low ppi, and the worst is the shatter proof sheet on the display, which i had on many other Xperia models and i have to say "NEVER AGAIN". Spend a few days with a BlackBerry or iPhone and you will hate your Xperia so much because of the display sheet, its dirty and gives a bad touch and scratches like crazy, impossible to keep clean even with water.
Remove the sheet? Doesnt help much, theres no oleophobic coating under, it will still be dirty and hard to clean and have an unpleasant touch. The sheet is really a dealbraker and the display PPI never belonged in a compact flagship. My BlackBerry has higher PPI but is a problem, its too low still.

I love this phone,better performance,the camera is good,4.3" full hd display,it's a water resistant phone,you guys should think to buy this phone.

Nexus 5 doesnt have very good battery life and the cam is mediocre too, and of course it has no expandable storage. Newer Android versions? Or involuntary beta testers? Once for Nexus 4 or 7 there was only 6 days a week, that should give you an idea how much Google test new releases internally before pushing them out to Nexus device users. And as you said, its too big.

hey guys i am looking for a good phone and so far i am cut between sony z1 compact and nexus 5. z1 compact looks better overall but the performance of nexus 5 seems to be better and it has a better version of android or something i suppose, but the size of nexus 5 really concerns me. would i be able to use it with one hand or is it too big? the size was also the main reason why i didnt buy z1 becouse it was uncomfortable for me to use. What do you guys think?

i bought xperia z1co last week and i tested the phone under water yesterday. i checked the flaps before entering the water as usually i do. but the next day the phone is totally off and i can not switch it on. when i open the micro-sim flap it's wet. how could this happen? what happen to my phone?

I have an experia ray perfect size for me,... moreActually Ray had a good successor, the Xperia SX was similar size and kind of high end phone with 3.7 inch qHD display, 1.5GHz dual core Krait and similar camera as Ray. The only negative thing was the 4GB storage, and of course that you had to import it from Japan yourself... So many people wanted the SX to be international.
Xperia U was also a Ray successor.

How I wish sony can make an upgrade of it. Same footprint, slightly bigger screen, ip58, 16GB ROM and at least 2GB of RAM or they can opt in making it 8gb ROM and 1GB RAM. Non-removable battery is fine with me. :)
