good news 4.4.4 is now available in india only on sony pc oompanian for Z1 and Zl COMPACT.this is latest firmware in andriod world and totally bug free check it now.....

Just got one last week. I didn't update it yet, but its all great. I got a lot of fun using the camera, earphones were great, speakers not too loud and not too soft but just right not to annoy anyone around you (cause too loud is barbaric) . Screen is great, perfect size, battery is awesome, the best design, high-end premium feel, for 420USD.
I'll take for a swim on our company tour. It's going to be fun having pictures on waters.

I know the specs are orsm for its size but Google this screen issue before you go ahead and get this baby..

hey im going to buy either this sony z1c or z1 which one is better ? ive read the review about the speaker that quite low due to something about gsm or whatever was i read (lol)so which one should i buy ? oh btw if you recommend me this z1c because the size don't bother because it doesnt matter for me . thanks in advance :)

This is a cool phone based on its features , but there is a serious flaw in the design and manufacturing.The LCD screen cracks all by itself and Sony refuses to replace this under their warranty.This happened to me so please steer clear..

This is not a phone for business..it's a kids-phone!!!
1.Audio quality for internal speaker is not good
2.Handsfree speaker is too low
3.Ringtone volume and music form speaker is too low and metallic!
4.Everytime a sound starts, there will be a distortion. Sony know this problem but seems not working to solve it
5.There isn't a total call time registry menu: there is only info for each call...you can't know total time for outcoming and incoming calls and resets them!
If you want to know the lifetime call duration time you must enter in ServiceMenu typing *#*#7378423#*#* and then in Service tests-Total call time.
That's not acceptable for this price: 499€ in Italy!!
