AnonD-265960, 21 May 2014I recently read Docomo (Japan Telco) announced new products... morehmm A2 i believe in japan is what they call refreshed version of z1 compact and denied it as being z2 compact.. if u decided to have z1c now that is your decision and i will fully support that.

It included next gen model for z1c but specs are not at top level, larger 4.5 inch screen, and named A2. i have been waiting for z2c and plan to get one in Japan but decide not to. I am thinking to get z1c now..

They say it's better to use the manual mode with flash coz u wont exp. The bleed than the superior mode (w/ flash).
I really want to purchase this phone but maybe ill just wait for the z2 compact

How did you find the vibration intensity? Could this phone be felt when it's inside your pocket vibrating, or just another soft vibrating smartphone like it's a trend nowadays?

I've been using the compact for just under a week now. Coming from an Acro s, I'd say this was a good purchase. Sony makes quality phones, but they do have their flaws.
So far, my battery life has been amazing even with brightness all the way up and I'm a very heavy user. I've had no problems with it over heating like my acro s did. It charges a lot faster than I was expecting, and I'm happy to not be constantly plugged in. I was disappointed though that I had to purchase a dock separately this time.
It feels really solid compared as well, not made of all plastic makes it feel quality, however I don't like that the back is plastic and not glass like the front.
They're are some issues though. The front camera is horrible compared to my acro s. When using snap chat especially, Or at night. It has a horrible grainy texture, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I love the AR effects but the image quality is poor when using those. All my other photos came out great and the camera software had some real bulk and quality with it.
My biggest complaint is the home buttons, I don't like that they're on screen and I can't just always have access to them. For instance, if I'm in gallery, I now have to do an extra swipe to have the home button appear. On my acro s they were not on screen and always there. They also make the home screen feel crowded at times.
Fingerprints are a huge issue on the pre- installed screen protector on the front and on the back, I feel like I'm constantly wiping it all down.
Viewing angles are amazing on this phone. I have not tested it in water yet, and it hasn't been dropped yet. It will though, I have severe carpal tunnel and my acro s bounced across the floor daily with only esthetic damage.
My favorite thing about it is that I can access LTE with straight talk now. I've also used all my high speed days for the month and my internet is still pretty fast.

Hi, just need to ask if the sound problem with z1c is fixed cause i had xperia T and was imposible to use... Mixing internal and external speakers was really bad issue. Also for Z1,Z1c and ultra has the same problem? Please help me because i really think to buy this one...

I notice in misc specs that you have SAR USA and SAR EU, with differing values. Could someone explain the difference pls? Thanks, J
