I think xperia z2 is the king of smart phones,becoz..he have some special things such as.,
Fastest processor
high camera clarity
support all browsing,chating apps and all androide games
hot design
like for water resist
high video clarity(short clips-HD MOVIES)
long life battery
4k bravia engine
my findings:
xperia z2 better than samsung s5,htc on and lg g3

I want to buy this phone, but I am really scared after reading all the self cracking issues on XDA! Has anyone here who had the same experience? Obviously asking to them who hae used the phone for more than three / four months. New users don't count.

5 days with the phone and here is my experience, the design, display is really good but the camera is a downer comparing to other flagship like s5 the camera was a disappointment and performance lags at some places maybe it's sony's software bug, it is ought to get smoother after software updates. In short the hardwares are top notch but software could get better.

After having this phone for around a month I can say that the quest of having a perfect smartphone has ended, the Z2 has it all, sexy design which is a head turner, great camera, long battery life, good call quality, bright display all these things make Z2 a perfect smartphone.

I just my Sony Xperia now with me. I dont have any problem with it. Good Camera, good processor no lag, good memory. Oh sometimes it becomes hot. Don't worry you can put it on water. Lol. Long battery capacity. Easy pairing. You'll never regret buying this, promise. Compare to other phone? IPhone, hahaha. Short battery.very expensive not worth it. Samsung? Not a fan of Samsung, battery problem too and hate the UI. My friends jealous of my Z2, super cool camera for selfie and taking pictures, not lag games, and I can finish 3-4 movies before battery runs out.

Using this phone is simply fantastic, super battery, great camera and never hangs. definitely beats everything currently available.
I also found the difference between it and Z3 very little (Z3 better battery and slightly better performance) not worth the price difference IMO.

i bought the phone just two days back and i would like to share few things about it.
1. design is awesome.
2.gui is superb.
3.performance is...... wow very fast.
4.video recording capabilities are excellent(4k slow motion capture..... ).
5.no network drop issues call voice quality is also marvellous.
6.vivid colours and triluminous display makes images and videos look very crystal clear on the screen at almost any angle.
7.camera-- good in daylight, below average in low light, very limited options are given to adjust the image quality, lot of noise around the corners of the image appears when you zoom in the image.
8.sound quality is good but little bit low would have been louder.

Before paying the money you should thoroughly check the phone you're buying, when i bought my Z2 the sales guy asked me to check everything touch responsiveness, camera/flash, body, speakers, earphones then he also asked me to make call to check the call quality, so the bottom line is whatever phone you buy check everything & then pay your hard earned money.

I Will Never Not Ever buy sony xperia phone... i bought z2 2 days ago.. and i got foggy camera .. so disappointed i was mad, i took it back after i paid 400 euros ... dont buy this crap brick of the phone .. i went back to Note 3... damn i missed my old buddy note 3

If you are looking for a camera, just go and buy a water proof Sony Cyber-shot camera. They're nice, reliable and will give you better photo quality.

We have 3 Xperia Z2, one Xperia Z Ultra, Z compact, 2 Samsung galaxy note 2, one note 3, one galaxy S4, one galaxy S3, HTC sensation, 2 sensation xe and one HTC M7.
By far, all phones are operating for not less than a year. However, 2 of the newly bought Xperia Z2 got its glass shattered!
Also, the covers I the side are not that strong and the phone is not halt sealed.
Yea Samsung is built out of cheap material. But the light plastic makes it more rugged when it comes to drops.
Logically, what can handle heavier drops, plastic or glass??
You do the math.
If you really want a nice built flagship phone, go for the HTC.
If you don't care much about the build luxury, go ahead and purchase Samsung. It's a heavy user phone.

Hello..M fond of Xperia Z2..no doubt that... moreI agree.. I'm a Sony fan as well. As I said before, the phone design is amazing. Performance is excellent. Camera is extraordinary.
However, or phones go through hell! We drop them and put with our keys in our pockets, purses, etc..
Sony phones, as far as my family and I experienced, are not that reliable when it comes to ruggedness.
Don't rely on the drop tests that you see on YouTube. This is not a professional way to examine products. Products should be under heavy test doping them simultaneously from different angles on different surfaces.
From our experience, Samsung and HTC are the most durable phones.
Though samsung's phones are made of cheap material, but it lives longer than its Sony rivals.
I love Sony, but they should not miss less people like this. If it's a rugged phone then it should handle heavy drops.
I remember when Sony used to design sports Walkman ( the yellow ones). Now they were really rugged and heavy duty. My brother in law dropped his Walkman and horse cart walked on it but nothing happened to that amazing device.
Now, rugged means a drop from 1.5 m only?
And believe,it got broken from a much smaller drop. And the warranty won't cover it. Also it cost a lot to fix it..

You see thats what boders me Sony wants to be unique but that is why some of the buyers will not buy it.
I still have the C905 Cyber-shot and the K800i Cyber-shot and let me tell you these phone are superb just the screen is to small for the today's purpose.
