z2cr , 30 Aug 2014Im using the Dock so evertym I charge I'l hav 2 take it off... moreand protector falls off if you get the phone in the water… talking about things falling off - I now have 2 friends who had the USB flap breaking off. Sony says that's not included in warranty, but admit that it happens a lot.
Actually it doesn't happen any less often than on Galaxy S5, apparently…
But just wanted to ask if any of you has the same issue. I don't.

zor, 30 Aug 2014does z2 overheating problem when playing high graphic games... moreOverheating with 4k recording is still there. But that is if you do continuous recording of that time. Not if you are doing short clips, allowing the processor to cool down between the clips.
On gaming overheating is not much of an issue, nor is it any worse than on other phones of similar specs.
So don't panic.

Z2 has best optimized android OS out there, without any lag in usage as Samsung and LG flagships have
It also has the best battery life
Plus you get stereo speakers on it
And a lot more of the best but these facts are enough reason for someone to choose it

Z2 has best specs out there, so resources are not a problem and it works flawlessly. IOS and WP os work flawlessly with less resources but that os due to a fact they lack features:
IOS is a closed os, means you are practically dependant on apple products only ( screen mirroring only to appleTV, bluetooth sharing onlly to apple phones and computers,...)
WP os lacks features like NFC ability, screen mirroring, wifi tethering, file manager,...
So I suggest you do yourself a favour and get Z2, because Z3 which will be even better will drop the price of Z2...

I am a windows phone user and used Nokia Lumia for quite sometime now... It has an excellent software without any doubt. Now I'm thinking to buy xperia z2 but I have heard from everyone who are Android users that software is basically a problem in android phones for various reasons... Is it true..? Because I like z2 very much but I don't know abt its software that is it good or not.. Moreover IPhone 6 is going to be launched in September... What you people suggest should I go for z2 or Iphone 6... IPhone has better software or android phones does......?????

Z2 and z3 are practically the same or is there any difference..? (If z3 launched with the mentioned specifications) I made my decision to buy z2 but then I heard z3 would be announced in the first week of September, so I'm confused now which phone to buy.... Plus z2 vs Htc one M8.... Which one is better......?????

Z2 is built for those who value elegancy, beside better performance and built quality than all other brands in the market. of course after IPhone.

A lot of problems with my new Xperia Z2.
Hardware : 10/10
Software : 5/10
Firts time, a lot of problems with contacts. Errors meesage related with sony components.
After soft reset, contacts working, but wifi is not working.
It is crazy!

You can get up to 10min 4k video with 128 super SD card!
Moreover, s5 has only 2g RAM and Z2 has 3g RAM:) and s5 cannot manage 4k shooting well and you get terrible heating issue with s5:) And s5 price is too high for" its cheap plastic body& boring design" to spend your valuable money
Have a wise choice:)
