the z2 is only one of a long list of devices on android ive owned and i really like where sony have took this phone. The camera is the best ive used ever and also im not usually one for stock O.S but right away have noticed there is a lot less bloatware compared to other brands. Plus there is a fair choice when it comes to wanting a custom os

The more I read the comments more I get confused and it's delaying my buy and making me think whether am I taking the right decision or not.....or should I opt for Z1,LG G3, Nexus 5......wanna peace of mind with the phone and not be concerned about making trips to dealerships after a $650/ buy?

1. If Z2 is so full of flaws why is it still rated as the top device, despite that I read more negative opinions vs positive?
2. Do all phones with 4K recordings heat up and there cam app closes or it's due to it's RAM, battery and metal body?
3. Is it more of camera and less of a phone?

I brought it to US from Sweden but it doesn't work on my Verizon Wireless plan. I know Verizon is CDMA, but shouldn't that be an option on the phone?

I wish people would take responsibility for their own stupidity. There is enough evidence out there to verify the phone is water proof, not water resistance (the S5 is water resistant not water proof). It would not have been certified otherwise. I can't even belief I am having this stupid debate. Go exercise your fan boy or girl attitude on Samsung's blog instead of chatting rubbish and trolling on here.

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2014Yes, the flaps do open upon impact, just like when Android... moreThe port cover/flap is metal same as the rest of the sides but the connecting material is plastic same as the connection between the phone and the S5's flap cover. From the Z through the Z2,never had any issues with the plastic connector breaking. The connector has to be plastic as metal is not flexible enough to fulfil the purpose!

Sony should improve on this. It's also flimsy, and not the attachment can easily be taken off if you're aren't careful about putting it in the pocket. The flap and sides are made of plastic, and not metal as some Anonymous person pretending to have the Z2 is claiming to be.

Stay away from this phone. It is not waterproof. Mine fell into about 3 inches of water and both the side flaps opened and water went in. No secondary seal to protect the phone. The phone is not durable to withstand the shock of a short drop. Sony will reject your warranty claim. Purchase the Samsung!!

Maybe if u put it on the back pocket and then sit on your phone then you can crack it because you force the phone to bend. I have dropped my phone several times and no issue at all. Of course i have a case but i have dropped it on concrete from almost 2 meters high and phone works and looks as nothing happened. Don't fall for self cracking screen. Not for a normal and regular use.

which is the choice of color should I prefer.black or white?
please mention the pros and cons.
unlike other phones, I heard the flaws of auto camera shutdown,phone getting more heat.
I am putting a big amount on this mobile.please help me with its good n bad things..how about the battery, performace display look and feel,gaming etc

Sony made the best display in Z2!
Live colour Led IPS display in Z2 has amazing viewing angle and saturated colour depth and clear contrast! There is no screen crack issues
You can also get front facing Sony original logo

Our Z2 pages are full of trollers: they used a great number of nick name and used various country codes
Of course, heat comes out from chipset, when we use smartphones
If we use smartphone for a long time, the external body of phone gets heat:)
It is because of normal heat convention
Moreover, Unlike all the other smartphones, Z2 has built_in cooling tech:)
