Last year Xperia z was launched bit early
and it was waterproof sammy was worried and launched s4 active.
It was no way match to Xperia z that's why s4 active got failed just compare specs.

After using 2 high-end Sony smart phones and having very bad freezing and batry issues I dont think I will ever consider buying a Sony phone...all the sony android phones my family purchased has had a software issue and Sony is surely the worst android phone for gaming iny opinion....Sony phones work well for a month and then starts slowing down...evn the service personnel were helpless wen I reported my problems..never again will I buy sony

AnonD-220058, 25 Feb 2014Well actually S5 has a more powerful chipset than the one c... moreYeah, S5 is clocked a lil higher but it is only .2GHz and it won't make a lot of difference while being a second gen of the 800 series is something to brag about coz it has way more capabilities and FYI, GPU on the Z2 is at a higher rate and speed compared to the 800.

The Z2 is an awesome phone, no doubt better than S5..
IMO, its better to wait for Z3 in september with 805 processor and adreno 420 gpu...!!

I used 2 Sony phones( mini pro and acro s) and both the phones disapointed Me with battery and freezing issues...cant evn play basic gaMrs on my acro s...I will nvr buy sony again..their design is good bt its not fit for heavy gamers and internet users :-(

Sony has 3GB of RAM and it uses the newer Snapdragon 801 chipset while S5 only has 2GB of RAM with Snapdragon 800. Samsung has only got more gimmicky features inside like the air view, S-health and some other stuff that really do not matter a lot. Sony though has better camera module and a better screen and of course, Sony has nicer build quality in its smartphones while Samsung has a very ugly design.
